Hi! I'm going to the Capital One Bowl on January 1 at the Citrus Bowl and I was wondering if any of you know where there is parking around there and about how much they charge? Thanks in advance for your help!

I went to the Capital One bowl a few years ago. I think I found parking a couple blocks away for about $30. Did you call the Citrus Bowl? They will know for sure.

There is plenty of parking around the CB but it's mostly in someone's yard for whatever they decide to charge. You would need to get there very early in the morning to get a decent spot. The area around the CB isn't the best in the world so just keep that in mind.

Google "Capital One Bowl Parking" and you should find where you can reserve spaces. See you there...

Even if you reserve a space go early. We went to the national championship there, and we could not get reserved parking. When we show up they are directing EVERYONE off site to park (took over an hour) turns out that they will let anyone buy parking or even show up and park on site, even if they don't have tickets, so they come park and tailgate all day while people with tickets park a mile away and walk in.

I was underimpressed. LOL

They have never played the National Championship at the Capitol One Bowl, are you sure you are talking about the Citrus Bowl?

No, I realized that after I posted that I should have made that distinction but then I forgot, it was at the big stadium down in Hollywood, but when I complained I was told that was SOP for any bowl. Parking is sold to anyone who wants it, even if it's just to tailgate. That's why you have to get there early and buy parking early.

Gotcha. Yes, you can purchase parking passes for this game right around the stadium, or at least fairly close...

You should go to Parkwhiz and you can reserve a space there that .5 mile down the street from the stadium. I did that and I have used it before for bucs and lightning games and it's legit.
