Citricos

I just wanted to post a quick blurb here about how impressed I was with Citricos tonight. I've never been there before or even to the Grand Floridian for that matter (we're staying offsite); but, I loved it. The food was awesome and the service was exceptional. The thing that really impressed me was this: I have a shellfish allergy that's pretty severe and I usually have to be very careful with ordering and hope the chef/cooks properly handle the shellfish. I had advaned reservations tonight at Citricos and they knew about my allergy ahead of time. As soon as we were seated, the waitress had the Chef come to our table to talk to me directly about what I could and couldn't have. He also asked what I was going to order so they could be "extra careful". This is awesome. I've never had this happen on any cruise I've been on or at the nice restaurants in Atlanta. I was more than impressed!!

Glad to hear of your good experience.

We are regulars and Citricos and will be there this Thursday for my daughter's 18th birthday. My son has always had a peanut allergy and they've done well but now we've discovered that he has a shellfish and tree nut allergy too. I'm glad to hear they are on top of things.
