It seems like there have been alot of bad reviews recently for Narcoose's so I am debating my ADR there.I was really looking forward to the surf and turf there but now I am not sure.I do love lobster and like steak alot.I am already going to CG,Le Cellier and YSH but I am now considering Citricos.I am doing the Sunset safari at AKL so I will get to sample the food at Jiko too,but I am thinking about trying to book an ADR for dinner another night at Jiko is it that good?I will have to take bus transportation if I go another night because I am only staying at AKL 2 nights and I will be going to Boma's the other night. It does seem really popular.I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks!! :)

If you are doing the safari, I would not do a repeat dinner at Jiko. It is wonderful, but there are so many other great places at WDW. What about Flying Fish?

Have fun on the safari! We did it a few years ago and had a great time.

I have dined at Citrico's and Narcoossee's, but never Jiko (have an ADR there for upcoming trip though!). Between Citricos and Narcoossees I would have to vote for Narcoossees. I liked both the menu and the atmosphere there better. I thought it was really neat to be sitting right out on the water. We ate there during Wishes and they turn the lights down and pipe in the fireworks music/narration. It was WONDERFUL. If you are doing dinner at Narcoosees, I highly recommend making an ADR for around the time that Wishes is going off.

AS much as I like Jiko, even I might not go twice in one week. I agree with CoolDisney Cat. Citricos is a fine alternate. I'm staying away from Narcoossee's for awhile

i haven't eaten at narcosee's or jiko's.....
i thought citricos was wonderful....the salmon is the best salmon i've ever had anywhere....and since i'm a fish/dairy eating vegetarian, i eat lots and lots of salmon in restaurants....citricos was pretty close to orgasmically good....

another restaurant i've heard good reviews of, but haven't eaten there....Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge...

by the way, at the GF there is a kind of coffee shop restaurant (maybe called the GF cafe?).....i had dinner there and it was excellent...and the service was superb (the deserts there are to die for, as is the bread)...

Jiko's is superb and I agree with Beth that the Grand Floridian Cafe is excellent too.
