We want to try one of these restaurants in July, but aren't sure which one is the better choice. Citrico's looks beautiful, but Narcossee's in on the water with great views and the fireworks. If it makes a difference, we have an ADR at CG for this trip, too....Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would choose Citrico's. While I have never been there, Narcoossee's was the worst meal of our 8 day trip. The food was sub-par and the service was horrible. I will never return to Narcoossee's. My steak was not cooked as ordered, the lobster tail was over-cooked, and our waiter? Nowhere to be found. For the rest of our meal. No drink refills, no one checked on how our food was prepared - nothing.

I have heard wonderful things about Citrico's and plan on visiting there on our next trip.

I've never been to Citrico's either, but my experience with Narcoosee's has been just the opposite of Lzylitnin's. DH and I have been there 4 or 5 times and have loved it each time. The last time that we were there was last night. Our food was delicious and the service was wonderful, as it has been on every occasion. Last night was the first time that we had to send any entree back. I had grilled salmon and when I started to eat it, I found that it was lukewarm . I mentioned it to the waiter and was given a fresh entree a few minutes later -- it was hot and came with an apology from the waiter. When he brought us our bill, he told me that my cappuccino was on the house because of the problem with my entree.

The atmosphere at Narcoosee's is wonderful. The views of the castle at MK and the Contemporary are great and I think that it is the best place to see the MK fireworks.

I've ben to Narcoossee's 3 times & all were wonderful! This is one of my favorites at WDW. Not sure if you have kids along with you or not, but if you do - I'd pick Narcoossee's, more family friendly out of the two. For that reason, we're trying Citricos on our next trip since we will be w/out the kids. The menu looks wonderful & I've heard nothing but good reviews about this restaurant. I think Citricos would be the more romantic of the two.

We enjoy both. I personally enjoy the food and atmosphere of Citrico's a bit better - a bit upscale.

I agree with a PP - Narcossee's with kids and Citrico's without. Also Citricos is closed certain days (Sun and Mon?), so that may influence your decision too.

Have a great meal!!!

Citricos by far. The food, presentation, and service are the best in WDW outside of V & A's.

I've been wondering about Citricos too. I'm defenetely eating at Narcoossee's. We are gonna be on the deluxe dining so I can do Citricos if I want, but I'm thinking about Jiko or Flying Fish instead.

We're trying to decide between these two as well.:worried:

We're planning a "girls night" with me, my mom & sister. My DH and Dad will be in charge of my kiddies, so we'll be kid-free for the evening!:woohoo:

I'm leaning towards Citricos but my sister insists on Narcoosee's. Help us decide too! Or, help us agree!;)

I can't say anything against either one. Citrico's is one of my favorites. We eat there every stay. Food is phenominal and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

We eat at Narcossee's as well. The food is also very good, but the atmosphere a bit more relaxed and casual. A little loud at times (if there are children).

My suggestion is to have dinner at Citrico's and then stop in at Narcossee's for cocktails at the bar around the time of the fireworks. You can take your drinks out on the deck and watch the show. Can't beat it!
