Citrico's or Flying Fish?

We're staying at the BWI and it will be just dh and I. Which would you choose? Citrico's or FF?

Definitely Citricos! By far one of the best restaurants on Disney property.

Both are excellent, but I would give Citrico's the edge. The dining room is a bit more upscale and the service a smidge more attentive. Plus you don't have to go through a candy store to reach the restrooms!

Definately Flying Fish...for dinner it is on our top 4 list.

We have eaten at both Flying Fish and Citricos. Both have outstanding service. While we enjoyed the food at Citricos we find the food at Flying Fish to be much better.

We have not eaten at Citrico's, so I can't comment on which is the best. I can tell you that we usually stay at BW. On just about every trip we have dinner at FF and love it. Service is great and the food is wonderful. Keep in mind that you will have to travel to get to Citrico's, whereas FF is right downstairs on the BW. I'm sure you won't be disapointed in either decision.

Flying Fish is our favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World!!

I am going to give you my take on Flying Fish.....maybe it was an isolated incident, but we have not gone back and probably will not go back.

This was last year. I have noticed the trend for Disney's upscale restaurants to be pushing the wine with the meal or their speciality drinks. In saying that, not all people drink, and we do not usually. My husband does not at all and I might have one. We went to the Flying Fish for dinner, our waitress was annoyed with our lack of drinking and as a result totally ignored us... never came back to the table to see if we needed anything. The food was served to us lukewarm, and she never came back. Finally the manager was walking by and asked us how we enjoyed our meal and we told him.

He wanted to comp our meal and my husband would not allow that. We spoke with him and explained that he should treat all customers the same whether they drink or not. We paid, left and never went back.. This could have been an isolated incident....

So, my vote is for Citrico's.....food was excellent, service superb and they did not freak out cuz we were not ordering their wine..

IMHO, Citrico's is the best restaurant on Disney property. Period. I have been to all of them (well, almost all of them). Citrico's is the best - with the exception of V & A. It even blows California Grill (whatever happened to that place?) clear out of the water, IMHO.

I'd chose wich ever one was convenient to where you are going to be. You won't go wrong with either.

I have not tried Citrico's yet, but I would go back to Flying Fish in a heart beat. The food was fabulous! And the service was great. We were there with our DD3, and they treated her wonderfully.
