Which would you choose for arrival night? This is for a short girl's trip. We arrive the morning of 9/14. We'll be staying at Poly & plan to spend the day at the pool & then hit Trader Sam's. I'm wondering if we should just hop on the monorail & have dinner at Citrico's & then have a drink at the Enchanted Rose. Or head over to the BW & have dinner at Flying Fish & go to AbacadaBar?

The good news is that they're both excellent. I'm always exhausted on travel day, so I'd probably keep it as easy as possible and go with the monorail ride over to the Grand Floridian. I'd also give Enchanted Rose an edge over Abracadabar. The only thing potentially giving me pause is the construction in the GF lobby. I'm not sure what the status of that will be in mid-September.

Personally, I think both are amazing and both are must does.... Actually Narcoosee's is on that list too...

If you are staying at the poly, and only have the one night to play with, I would not go all the way to Flying Fish,

If you have multiple nights well that is easy then, Both

I love questions with no wrong answer!!!

Both are great choices. I, personally, would lean toward Citrico/Enchanted Rose. The easy monorail ride over there is nice, but the much longer monorail ride back kind of negates that. Of course that would depend on how much you drank at Enchanted Rose. :)

Going to/from FF/AbacadaBar is more complicated. I'd suggest uber/lyft to get there and back.

As far as the actual restaurants go, we really enjoy both Citrico and FF. I'd just flip a coin on either of these. But you might want to check the menu's with the rest of your party to see if there is something that tips the scale.

The lounges are both really nice. Enchanted Rose is fairly quiet, while Abacada is louder but still not that bad. Perhaps the deciding factor is if you might want to spend any time at BW afterwards watching the buskers.

citricos is really good but narcosses is better

I would go with Citrico's! WE love it and the atmosphere, service and food are top notch! Cocktails are great also. Enchanted Rose is one of our favorite lounges.

What do you like better about Narcoossee's?
Personally, I find both amazing,
However, for me Narcoosee’s could be my favorite surf and turf r restaurant back home,

Reminds me of all the things I love about living in New England, with a Florida flare.
Very good food, very laid back, on the water…

Although I enjoy Critcos very much, it has a more high tempo restaurant, much more like when I go out to eat at work in LA, NY, etc.

Both are amazing, both are on my must do list,

Narcoosee’s is more like vacation….

Both are very good! In my opinion FF slightly edges out Citricos, but it's very close.

That being said - if I was staying on the monorail loop it isn't enough of a difference that I would go out of my way to go all the way over to BW to go to FF. I'd do Citricos and Enchanted Rose in an instant!

Just a small warning, currently they have frosted all the windows at Citrico’s to block looking at the scaffolding surrounding the building. TBD what it will be like in September but the whole project looks more like the beginning than end at the moment, but maybe finishing up by Sept? That’s a big TBD.

One thing I like about Citrico’s (other than the great food and service) is the lovely views of the GF grounds and abundant light. The frosted windows really take away a lot of the ambiance, IMHO. I don’t know if it’s quite at the “no go” level for me, but I’ll think twice before going again so long as main building work is occurring.

Citricos imho; slightly better food (although FF is great) and location work in your favour. Going to BWI from Poly will be a pain.

California Grill should be in the mix as well. A wonderful atmosphere, low key great wine selection and really good Margarita's. Admittedly the Sushi which used to be great until Yoshi retired isn't what it used to be ,but everything else on the menu is up to snuff.,,,As for your other choices ,,,It's all good.
P.S. My wife and my favorite is Flying Fish and really miss their chef's table dinner.

also keep in mind if you are not staying at the Grand unless you pay to valet park you will have to park in cast member paring which is very far away.
