Citricos or Artist Point

Which is better to go to for a 30th birthday EXTRAVAGANZA. Starting my celebration in WDW for 2 nights and then Disneyland for 7 days! What would be a better choice for a nice dinner at WDW? Citricos or Artist Point?

Other ADRS I have planned: Boma (breakfast), Kona (breakfast, day 2), Hoop De Doo (dinner, day 2). Prob. don't need any lunch ADRs.

We really like Citricos and have always had an excellent meal there. We've found that with a later ADR it is quieter than some of the other signatures (fewer kids). But Artist Point has a few things on their menu that we like, too. Have a look at the menus to see which appeals more.

We've eaten at both multiple times and Artist Point gets my vote. I think the atmosphere is so much more upscale than Citrico's (Citrico's felt almost casual the last time we went) and the food has consistently been much better. WL is also such a gorgeous resort to visit. We love looking at everything in the lobby, sitting by the fire, poking around in the gift shop. Artist Point just feels much more special to me than Citrico's

Artist Point is wonderful. It's on our list to visit every time we go to WDW. In fact, we usually eat there a couple times.

Both are nice, but both have very different menus. If you have been to one, but not the other, try something new. If you've been to neither, I'd first go to Citricos (much safer, not as experimental food-wise).

We've eaten at both and without a doubt, Artist Point. Excellent food and service and WL is a beautiful place to explore. Our favorites on the menu include the salmon, the buffalo and the portobello mushroom soup.

As you know food is subjective, so the best advise is to head to wherever the menu looks best to you. So that said I will of course give you my subjective opinion : )

We've only eaten at Citricos twice, but I've never found it to be anything special. Don't get me wrong the food is fine, just seems like something you could get elsewhere. I also don't know why but the decor is very blah to me and it looks like a generic restaurant you could find in any nicer hotel in the country.

On the other hand, Artist Point is beautiful inside and if you can get a window table you really feel transported to somewhere else. The food is divine and you can't beat the great northwest (the region not the kimye baby) wine offerings. If I were to turn 30 again its where I'd want to be.

Having eaten at both, we prefer Artist Point for both food and ambiance.

We have been to both twice and both were excellent. However Citricos is our favorite signature overall. It's hard to compare though because menus change so frequently. There could be a meal at Citricos that was outstanding that they no longer have. Often the menus online are not up to date. But you can't go wrong with either! We thought the "atmosphere" at Artist Point is a little more outdated and boring. the place was empty both times. But the meals were very good. The food at Citricos was OUTSTANDING though. But they don't have my favorite thing I have EVER tasted anymore, it was called a Crab Gateau or something. Best thing I've ever eaten.
