Hey guys, for our last dinner I'm trying to decide between Artist Point and Citricos. We usually stay at the GF, but we aren't this year, so I thought it'd be nice to say hi. But Artist Point menu also looks great! We're eating at Sci Fi, Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Cali Grill, and Jiko the other nights-- any opinions on how to end the week??

mmm citricos is amazing :) that would be my vote!! i'm craving the shrimp appetizer right now just thinking about it!

Citrico's for me as well.
Artist Point isn't near the top of my favorite Signature restaurant list---

I went to both on my trip last August and have to agree with the others. My preference would be for Citricos.

Citrico's. I have a hard time even considering AP to be a signature; to me it seems more like a high-end 1 TS.

Artist Point ... But only if it suits you. If you want (1) the cedar plank salmon or (2) the buffalo steak then that meal, IMO, will be better than Citrico's, plus AP has that stunningly spectacular smokey mushroom soup (and I don't even like mushrooms! But beyond those items, Citrico's is probably a safer choice.

Our last meal at Citricos was pretty disappointing. The escabeche was bland and didn't taste very fresh, and my fish dish was served with a surprisingly plain pearl pasta that could have been from a can. The highlight of the meal was the trio of gelato.

Artist Point isn't always consistent, but I find that I've had some of my best meals there. As of now, I would choose Artist Point.

It's a toss up, but based on my most recent visit, the edge goes to Artist Point. I did love the food at Citrico's, but the CMs left a lot to be desired. They were rude and pre-ocupied. I recieved better service at Artist Point. The cheese plate at AP was much better (and bigger) than Citrico's. While I enjoyed both entrees, I have to give the edge to Artist Point. The entree was served promptly and not allowed to sit under heat lamps. My entree from Citrico's came out luekwarm and because it was so cold in the restuarant it was cold by the time I finished. I felt that it was much more relaxed at AP and the service more attentive.

Citricos is our favorite restaurant on property. That shrimp appie....TO DIE FOR!

A great question - one with no wrong answers! Both are wonderful dining experiences.

We give the edge to AP simply because of its very different menu and a wonderful wine list. But then again, we love the elegant feeling of Citrico's.

Both are really nice but I always sway towards AP, purely for the mushroom soup and whatever game they are serving for entree. Plus they have a great wine flight option.

Desserts are the only downside IMO at AP as they don't seem like signature desserts, but I've never had a bad one, just boring ones!

Our vote goes to Citrico's. We have always had amazing food there, and the servers have been friendly and helpful. For our part, the menus at AP have seemed plainer, but we live in the heart of beef and buffalo country, so the salmon is the only thing that we were wowed by.

I would make the trip to Citrico's just for the Gateau of Crab. I want some. Now please.

Haven't been to Citrico's (yet) but really enjoyed Artist Point when we ate there in October! Cheese plate is amazing and all of their fish entrees are fantastic.

Until seven weeks ago, I would have said Citricos hands down, but recent chef changes at Artist Point have completely transformed the restaurant into the fine dining establishment it could be. Basically, its chef acts as if the dining plan didn't exist.

After informing the chef of a peanut allergy in our party, he (Matt) emerged and, much to our surprise, chatted with us for 10 minutes. He brought over the risotto with pork belly and then said he would "experiment with desserts on you guys." An enchanting evening, so much so that we called the manager at the end of the night and told her, "Please resist the dining plan as much as you can." She whispered, "We're trying."

Couldn't have summed it up better. Also prefer the wine selection at AP.
