ok! I've decided and made the reservations for my b-day dinner @ Citricos. I have also decided not to cancel this reservation! :rolleyes1
But I do have some questions. If you know anything, please don't hold out on me! I know some of them are kinda strange but bear with me...I'm an obsessive planner, I need to know things so I'm not dissapointed! Anyways, thanks if you can answer anything!
Here we go:
1. Have any adults ordered from the children's menu? If so, did they accomadate you? Any problems with picky eaters?
2. How long is a meal here generally? Less than an hour, more than 2, does it depend on you?
3. What do the different alcoholic drinks taste like? I generally like them best when you can't taste the alcohol, any recommendations?
4. What do ladies generally wear when you've spent all day at the parks? Do you go back to your hotel to change (assuming your staying on-site)?
5. Is there somewhere else in the GF I should go after to watch Wishes? Where should I go? (sorry, but I never paid attention before since I didn't think it would apply to me and my computer seriously doesn't like the search feature!) I have figured out that I wont be able to see it from the restaurant.
6. When people have celebrated special events here, what kind of stuff do they generally do? Bring something out, sing, nothing?
7. In accordance with the dress code saying no tank tops, does this apply to all ladies tanks or just like, spaghetti-strap kinds? If the top is nice and dressier has anyone had a problem wearing one? It will still be too hot for longsleeves!
8. Is there anything on the menu that is terrible? Anything one should stay away from? Anything incredibly good?

Ok, so not a dozen but close enough! Thanks again guys, you rock!!

The three times my DH and I have eaten at Citricos we came back from the parks and cleaned up before going out to eat. (Actually this became a ritual with us--even if we were heading back into a park for a TS meal.) I wore nice sundresses or skirts and blouses, he wore a nice polo or silk-type T-shirt and khaki slacks.

I had their lemon drop cocktail the last time--it was really sweet and not at all what I expected of an alcoholic drink. Tart with a hint of sweet would have been more to my taste. We usually do the wine pairings with dinner and I'd rather stick with that instead of the cocktails.

I believe that your server and the chef would accomodate you whatever you decide to order. We are very adventurous eaters, but there was a man at a table near us who ordered a filet without any accompanyment for his meal and that is how it came. If someone in your party wanted something off of the children's menu, I don't believe it would cause a stir at all.

Each time we ate at Citricos it was about an hour and a half to two hours for the meal. But then, we like to linger over dinner and between courses. We were never rushed as the dining room was not busy each time we were there. We ate early one evening (first seating at 5 pm) because we were heading to Cirque du Solei. The other two times it was 7:30 and 8 pm when we were seated.

Enjoy your birthday dinner. Citricos would be my choice for mine if I were going to be heading back for my birthday too.

thanks so much Laurie! How did you know the lemon drop was the one I was thinking of? :)
