Citra -- the soda

I have read that the soda Citra is sold in only certain parts of the US. Has anyone seen in in their supermarket?

I'm looking for it! It used to be my favorite.

I've never heard of it here in Tennessee. We have a citrus drink that is only made/sold here in Tennessee called Sun-Drop, much stronger than Mt. Dew. My grandfather used to call it embalming fluid. I used to drink it alot as a teenager and always told him "good, it'll keep me looking young".

In the U.S., Citra was rebranded as Fanta Citrus as of 15 March 2004
It is a rare find. Fanta Citrus is not discontinued, but it is only in certain areas of the U.S.

I know someone involved with the Soda Finder website. I'll get in touch with him and see if there's any way they can obtain some Fanta Citrus for you. But, I'll warn you ahead of time, it might be pricey.

If Citra used to be sold in your area check out some of the small chains to see if they have something simular. Around chicago smaller chains will offer some unusual brands. Seen Coke from Mexico with sugar, Bubble up in bottles, Crush in glass bottles, even seen the Pepsi Throw back stuff at the regular stores last week. Oh tried the Pepsi Natural in bottles last week, didnt finish the bottle. Good luck.
