I'm have been wanting to purchase one of these recently and I am considering getting the Navigator with the Creative Xpress 50% off coupon making it around $50 with shipping. Which of these organizers do you prefer? Pros/cons for both of these?
Thanks!

Shameless bump! Come on, I know some of you have one one or the other!

I have the navigator and while I love it I kind of wish I had bought the XXL. I have so many supplies now I can't fit my album in the bag when I go to crops. I have to carry it seperately which is a slight pain.

I started out with the Navigator and then in 2 months outgrew it. I have the XXL and love it!!!!!

i have the xxl, and i am glad that i got that one...i would never have fit my stuff in the nanavigator...

downside to the xxl is is that it is very heavy filled with stuff....once just out of curiosity, i took mine into my work to weigh it on the scale and totally full it weighed 67 lbs!!! yes that is a whopping 67 lbs!!!

i have also flown with mine and checked it, and it was just fine...

I have the XXL and I love it! It's a perfect size for me and easy to "roll around" to crops. I originally bought the Navigator, but I outgrew it quickly. The second I saw the XXL I used my Joann's 50% off coupon and got it. Definately worth the money in my opinion. :cool1:

I started out with the Jr. It lasted me for years, until I really started going to crops. I stuggled with the XXL/NAV question too. In the end it was DH who decided! Lol... He said he was sure I would 'grow into it' I'm really happy with it. It easily holds an album, tons of embellies in all the pockets and holders, all kinds of tools, paper cutting stuff.

I think that once you reach the point of needing an XXL or Navigator, you just need to accept that it's going to be heavy, whichever one you choose! With the XXL you probably won't have to buy another bag, and you may if you outgrow the Navigator. (This is not to say that I haven't seen plenty of scrappin' girls who come to crops with the XXL and the P3 pop-up paper thing, and one who had the XXL, Nav and 2, yes 2 P3's!!)

The other really good thing, as someone else mentioned, it's really easy to fly with (CKU!) It zips all the way shut and the zippers have locks. I believe you can get a cover for it as well that can lock/enclose it.

Hope that helps!

this is so me and the girls that i go to crops/weekends with!!!! the less people we have in the car traveling with us, the more we take...and the funny part is that i hardly even scrap!!!!! i don't get my groove on until about 10 pm on saturday night, then i can hopefully crank out 2 pages before packing up to make the 4 hour trip home.

we have brought xxl, paper takers, and jrs...that was just one person!!! we have brought a full size sewing machine, and the kitchen sink!!! then there are our shoes....a girl has to have her shoes to match as well right??? we fill every available inch in the car that we possibly can...trust us...

Based on your reviews I was going to get the XXL with the 50% off coupon. Well, silly me forgot that it expired on 8/31. It ended up being a good thing though, because I got the Navigator for $16.20!! I figured I could not pass it up at that price. I might get the XXL for Christmas if the Navigator isn't working for me, but for $16 I think it will do fine for a while! :)

$16.20??? $16.20????

that is one supreme steal!!! i wouldn't have wanted to pass that up either!!! awesome deal you found!!!

Yup! I thought my eye's were playing tricks on me. Creative Xpress has the navy Navigator marked down to $26.99, plus now there is a 40% coupon (40TEN). I made sure to sign up for the "Notify Me When In Stock" a few days ago and as soon as I got my e-mail yesterday I jumped on the offer. :)

Does Creative Xpress honor the sale price if it's out of stock and you ask to be notified when it comes in? Also, where is everyone getting the coupons from?

Thanks!

They notify you when the item is back in stock. If it is still on sale than you get the sale price as well. This just happened with the Sizzix sidekick, it kept being out of stock and they kept getting more it but it continued to be on sale.

On their website right now they currently have the code for the 40% off one item coupon that you can use on any merchandise including things on sale. You can use this coupon as many times as you want as long as you have multiple transactions, you just must pay the individual shipping charge for each order.

Well, as usual I'm a day late and a dollar short on this reply but I'll post anyway! ;)

I have the XXL but as several stated earlier, it is VERY heavy. I really don't have alot of different supplies--more paper than anything else. I don't get to go to many crops either--3 girls all very active in sports & church, a home based business and a farm keeps me busier than I'd like to be! But when I do get to go, I usually just pack what I think I will need and be done w/it.

What a great deal on the Navigator!! :Pinkbounc

Now, stupid question....what is Creative Express? Is it a store like JoAnne's or Michael's? a website? Not familiar w/it. :confused3

The pop up thing that holds the paper. I've seen those at Michael's but nowhere else. How much are they and are they worth the expense? I don't have a scrap room...unless you count my den or kitchen table! Have to keep everything pretty mobile in order to pick up after I'm done for the night.

Thanks for input and advice!!

Karen

Creative Xpress is a website that has a gallery, forums and a store fro scrapbooking, stamping and crafts. www.creativexpress.com

Sorry I don't have the pop up paper holder so I can't comment, but I'm sure someone here can :)
