what is the show like in wdw? I there any web site where I can see where the seats are, and how much they are? I really need help with this. It is only going to be me and my mom. As you can tell it is going to be my first time. Thanks with all of your help.

Hi there carbur....My friends and I all went to see Cirque locally when they came to Boston...it was an incredible show! It's a circus but a circus comprised of acrobats and music rather than animals. Oh and there are some VERY entertaining clowns. You didn't mention your age, but, well I can't imagine an age that wouldn't enjoy this show! Quick note...if the troop is likely to visit your town/city I'd wait till then (not that they're not worth seeing as DW), however if while at DW is your only chance then I'd make a point of seeing them while I can.

The show in Downtown Disney is family friendly. It shows Tues-Sat, unless otherwise noted. There are 2 shows an evening at 6 pm and 9 pm, and they ask that you get to the theatre 1/2 hours prior to showtime. Each show, including the preshow is about 90 minutes long and has no intermission. The tickets range from $62 to $90 for ages 10 and up and $42-$62 for kids 3-9. If a child younger than that can sit on your lap, they can come in for free. There is a lot of arial work in this show, so sitting right down front may not actually be the best place to sit. The theatre is a semicircular arrangement around the stage with only 19 rows. Most say the best section are sections 203, 204 and 205. If you are interested in the section 103 which is right in front of the stage, you will need to call for these tickets a couple of months in advance.

Hope that helps!:)

If you have never seen a Cirque show before I would highly recommend seeing this one! Since it is a resident show (stays in the same location) we found that the seating was much nicer than the traveling shows. It's a great show and tons of fun!

La Nouba is fantastic. We'd do it on every trip if we had the time. It is worth every penny.

DH says hands down this was the best thing we did on our last trip. We were all in a deep depression when I found out they will be "dark" during our entire trip in June. It is an amazing show. It is worth every penny and we would be going again this year if they were performing. It is the best performance I have ever seen. There is a section on the main Disney page for Cirque and it's under Downtown Disney.

You can go to the company web page

Cirquedusoleil.com

Click on shows and tickets at the bottom and then under where it says La Nouba (click on Walt Disney Workd Resort) and it will tell you everything. You can purchase them online from there as well as look at the seating chart (there is a link at the bottom for just that). As was stated Cat 2 in section 203/ 204/ 205 are really good seats without being in the high range rates :)

Hubby and I are HUGE Cirque fans!

La Nouba ROCKS!!!! :cool1::thewave::jumping1:

We just got back last night from WDW and saw La Nouba Friday night (01/14/05). I was really worried that my 27 y/o son and 8 y/o GD would not get it, but was very pleasantly surprised. Before the show, when I told my son I had spent $91.00 apiece on our seats and $63.00 on my GD's seat he said 'Are you crazy!', but afterwards he said he didn't care what it cost it was worth twice what we paid. They seemed to enjoy it as much or maybe more than anything else we did the whole week. We saw the 9:00 pm show and I was afraid my GD would have a hard time staying awake, but she was wide eyed and totally fascinated throughout the show. Her GF picked us up at the airport, and when he asked if she enjoyed her first trip to WDW she started talking about La Nouba (not the parks, shows, or rides). I was really surprised they loved it as much as they did. After the show people were talking about how they couldn't believe the show had lasted 90 minutes as the time seemed to fly by. I've never known my son or GD to be able to sit still for more than a few minutes, but they didn't move throughout the show.

The only thing is, we had seats in sec 103, row F, seats 1,2, & 3. When we see it again I will probably request Sec 204 Row AA as the clowns did their preshow in the walkway between Sec 103 and Sec 204 and the cast members also walked out along that walkway and we had to look backwards to see what they were doing at the beginning of the show. The theater is really pretty small so there probably are not any bad seats in the house. When I booked it I was really unsure about it, not so much because of the price, but because I wasn't sure if it would be my son and GD's cup of tea, but as I said they both absolutely loved it. I'm planning to take my younger son and his wife to WDW in September and definitely plan to reserve seats for us. It's wonderful.

Everyone gave us such good information. We will try to get section 203, 204, and 205. Thank you very much everyone.

I believe you can get a Souven-ear popcorn bucket and 2 pops for about 12.00$ at the show. I was going to send my mother and a little girl we're taking with us, but after reading this post. I WANT TO GO TOOOOOOO!!!!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

La Nouba is one of the best Cirque shows me and the sweetpea have ever seen. We both enjoyed it tremendously. I would highly suggest that you see the show if you get the chance. You wont be dissapointed.

it is an awesome show. the theatre is pretty great that all seats are good ones. but this is the kinda show that you don't want to sit up front for because there is a lot of things happening above the stage. i paid the $91 for a prem seat, i believe it was in section 103 C i could be wrong. all i remember i was dead center and with that walkway in front of me, and the two clowns in the pre show were right in front of me. the woman at the ticket counter helped me pick out my seat. it was a great experience.

enjoy it!

Thank you very much everyone. I think we will go. I can't wait to see the show.
