How does Cirque handle wheelchair spectators?

DH would love to see this show on our next trip but I am wondering where they seat the rest of the party when one member is in a wheelchair?

Wheelchairs are parked in special seating above last row of chairs...great seating, by the way. Other members of the party could sit one row below but not next to from what I remember...I've been three times and it's a great show!

The last two times I went I drove my scooter to the aisle one level below my assigned seat in regular seating and, after I transferred to a regular seat, they drove the scooter off and parked it. The problem with that is that I was stuck there until I could snag someone to go get it...

When I went my daughters were able to sit with me. We were not at the top but half way up and they removed a folding chair for my wheelchair. Others transferred at they took the ECV and parked it and then brought it back just before the show ended.

the only negative I felt was (my son can't transfer) that he was sort of sitting on his own. I know we were just the row below but it felt like he was a bit isolated as we had went as a family if you know what I mean and as he can't do anything for himself I sort of worried about him a bit. Don't get me wrong the show was great as was the location and we all enjoyed it but that was the only downside I felt. The tickets arn't cheap so I would have thought they would have been able to build in a seat next to a wheelchair allocation.

The ADA states that there MUST be a companion seat next to the wheelchair seat. So atleast 2 of your party can sit next to each other and the rest in a row below or above them. :pug:

What price level ticket do you have to buy to get the accessable seating?

We have always wanted to see the show but the price just scares us but DH says this time we should really try to see it.

I know trhey have them in the first 3 for sure not sure about cat 4 though. :pug:

I bought tickets today and they are CAT 2 in section 205 row LL.

When I look this up on seating charts it appears to be the very last row.

Both of my parents have macular degeneration and I am afraid that if we are the last row in the theater that they will not be able to see.

We have never been to the show before so I really do not know the size of the theater.

My dad was saying perhaps we would be better to transfer to a seat instead of sitting mom in the wheelchair for show seating.

Can you experts who have been to the show tell me what we should do. Thanks. Kim

we were in Category 1 102 H 7 - 16 and the wheelchair def. wasn't beside us he was on the higher level to the side

we were the seating below and he was the one above it was as you come in the main entrance and was right there . I just felt DS wasn't part of us and it wasn't the cheapest priced tickets.
