Cirque du Soleil????

On previous trips to WDW I would wonder why people would feel the need to spend $100 + on a ticket to La Nouba when there was so much else to do at WDW. But this summer on a trip to LV with my whole family we went to see "O". To say it was amazing would be an understatement! We ranged in age from 8 to 73 and all loved it. Now we can't wait to see La Nouba when we return to WDW.

My 8 year old had no trouble sitting through the "O" show.

This was always our thinking plus it takes time away from seeing fireworks (one of my favorite things to do), but we finally bit the bullet a couple of years ago when we knew it was our last WDW trip for at least a year (saving for a cruise) so we took time to do all the things we had always wanted to do including seeing La Nouba. We were kicking ourselves for not going sooner (just like we did when we finally joined DVC). Now we're hooked and have traveled to see some of the other shows but haven't made it to Vegas yet.

We did LaNouba about 3 years ago. Loved it. My dd was just 8 when we went. She and I are going to WDW again in June (surprise trip for her!!!) and I'm going to get tickets for the two of us to Cirque again!!!

We saw Cirque for the first time with our 2 DDs, aged 4 and 6 this past August. I wasn't sure what to expect, but AMAZING is all I can say! The girls loved it and didn't fidget at all - they were mesmerized.

Did anyone else feel nervous watching it, though? There were some amazing stunts that had me on the edge of my seat! I'm not a worry wart, but I felt nervous for the performers! Of course, I kept reminding myself that they do this show every day and everything is fine, but still!!! LOL!

But I still loved it! Have a magical time.

I felt that way watching "O" with all the water diving and fire elements. I recently read in the Sunday paper that Cirque was at the summer olympics recruiting performers from gymnastics, sync.swimming, diving etc... Interesting!
