I know this isn't exactly a "Theme Park" question, but figured it was the best place to ask it.

We're heading down to WDW in mid June and my kids have been asking to go to Cirque du Soleil while on this trip.

We've already looked at what day the show is on and were wondering what day of the week people feel is the best to go, and how far in advance do we need to purchase our tickets?

Any other advice is appreciated as well, thanks.

My only suggestion would be to avoid Thursday nights -- not because the show is any busier, but because DTD in general seems to be busier (I think the cast members and college students go out and party). Once yuou've chosen a night, I'd make reservations ASAP. When we went to pick up our tickets in January (night before the show), the man in front of us was having a lot of trouble getting seats together for his party of four. The seem to only have single and double seats available. It's a great show though, and I'm sure it will be wonderful no matter what night you see it!!!

I would suggest that you consider calling Disney Reservation Center to get them to reserve all your seats together as early as you determine your attendance date.

Just so you're aware, you can book tickets online: Cirque du Soleil
That way you can check out where your seat will be, and decide if you are willing to wait to purchase them. I would not wait too long. Also be aware that according to the web site, the show will be dark (no performances) between June 20 and July 5, 2004.
Have a great trip!

Get your tickets as soon as possible. We went last year and loved it. I was going to skip it this year, but my DS, age 6, was so insistent on seeing it again, I got tickets. We are seeing it on our arrival night. Can't wait!!
It is a terrific show!!

Thanks for the fast answers. Thats what I was looking for. We were wondering if we could leave the date open and decide when we got there and when we had an idea of weather for that week, but it sounds like we are better off setting the date and then working around that.

Thanks again for everyones help.
