Cirque Du Soleil....worth it?

Yes! We went in august when dd was 9 and ds was 13 and we all LOVED it!! You can't even describe the show to anyone as it is so...different! We also saw Kooza when it came to Boston and enjoyed that one also.

Your son is at a great age to enjoy it and especially so since he asked to go. There are many families who take much younger children but we wanted to wait until they were old enough to really enjoy it as when you multiply the ticket cost x4 it gets quite pricey!

Enjoy! :)

To me, yes. It's absolutely worth the cost. I've seen it three times now. Same show, and enjoyed every second of it every time!

The best was when I took my grandson--he was ten at the time and was mesmerized from the pre-show all the way to the end.

We'll probably go again when oldest DS comes home from Iraq. He wants to go to WDW and hasn't seen Cirque yet. So, we may spring for tickets one more time!

One of the best shows I've seen hands down. Since seeing it in Florida, I make it a point to see their traveling show when it comes to Philly.

There were four of us and we all loved loved loved it! It was, hands down, the best money I have ever spent on something outside of the Disney parks. We were in the second category in the middle and the seats were outstanding! We are thinking of going again this year for our son's 12th birthday. It's been two years since we went and he still talks about it.

I'd say so. La Nouba was great and we're glad we did it, but we probably wouldn't do it again. We've seen other Cirque shows and they were much more...impressive? Not sure if that was the right word, but the other shows were simply mind boggling.

We went and had the worst seats available. It was dh & my date night. We really enjoyed it, but we wished we had our kids as they really would have enjoyed it. It is a circus. A highbrow, supercool, one ring circus. And kids would love it. Especially 9 year old kids.

Get the cheapest seats and enjoy!

We went to the early show and then Raglan Road to see the band and dancer. Kids would enjoy this too.

I'm with the others. GO! Especially since your son is asking to.

I do disagree about the seats though. We sat in category 1 seats and, if we return, we would purchase the same tier again. You were so close that you felt part of the show. When the bikers come out and brake just short of the edge of the stage, we felt like they were going to end up in our laps. It also felt like if any of the acrobats fell, they would fall on top of you. We loved it and the close proximity to the action gave us a rush! We had no trouble seeing anything whatsoever as has been suggested in this thread regarding top tier seats. We could comfortably see every detail of the show. So, I would spring for the most expensive tickets if I were you, especially since the difference to upgrade is very little.

:santa: I have seen it 6 times. This past November being the 6th time. The show si still as incredible as it ever was, and I would highly , highly recommend it! Have fun if you go!

La Nouba is so worth the money. It's amazing! Your DS will love it. We have been to the show 2x, and we are thinking about going for a third time next month.

Poop! After reading all of these great reviews, I thought I would buy tickets - but there isn't going to be any shows while we are there

Yes, go!! Do buy tickets in the 200s sections (center is preferable, of course), as they are better than 100s sections.

Cirque shows are amazing and La Nouba is no exception. I've only been to La Nouba twice so far (and a couple other Cirque shows), but will definitely go again at some points! (It isn't something I'd want to do every trip, to make trips different and to leave time between seeing it and all, so I haven't gone every trip since it started, but it is well worth seeing multiple times.)

I've seen two Cirque shows. They are incredible. I haven't seen La Nouba yet---we've been so busy doing the parks that we haven't felt the need to add it in. But, you won't regret going.

I also agree that seats a little higher up might actually afford better views---a Cirque production uses the whole space in the tent.

we sat in the second row center - not true that a lot of the show happens behind you...they were amazing seats....

that being said - if finances are an issue I would say it is a small theatre and the Cat 2 seats are fine - I would recommend trying to not be on the sides of the stage even close - not the best - try to stay center

Do you think a 3 yr old would enjoy this and be able to sit through it?

I think that's probably too young.
