I'm thinking of going to see this show in July as I've heard so many good reports about it. I need some advice from those who have been please :D

1. Is it worth paying the extra $10 for Category 1 seats?

2. If I just go for Category 2 seats, can I specify which part I want seated in, or is it pre-assigned?

3. Are all seats 'good'?

If you can upgrade for only $10 then just bite the bullet and do it. We went in june and sat on the left side of the seating and a very small amount was blocked from our view and if I had been able to, I would have paid the extra. You are already dropping a fortune to see it, what is an extra few bucks, right??

There are no bad seats. The difference in categories is new as the price used to be the same for all seats. Here is the seating chart showing the categories

http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/CirqueDuSoleil/en/tickets/resident/lanouba/seatingplan.htm

The most expensive Category 1 seats are sections 103 and 204 which are dead center; however, 203 and 205 are just as good as 204; in fact that upper level 203 through 205 are about the best seats in the house; the remaining sections in category 2 are also still good seats.

Great show! I'd go for it and spend the extra $10. But, there are barely any bad seats in the house! But if you're on vacation, spend the extra $10 and have Wonderful seats!

You'll love the show! I'm a huge Cirque fan myself and I was so excited to be able to see a performance of theirs on Disney property!

Have a wonderful time on your trip! Oh, word of advise, on the day that you will be seeing the show, try not to over do it during the day. You want to be wide awake for this show! You might want to leave the parks really early to go back to your room to rest up! A friend of mine that was with us, made a mistake and over did it, she was tired at the show, loved it but she would of had a better time if she rested up!

I'd definitely spend the extra $10 for the seats. This show was awesome !!!
We had a wonderful dinner before at WP upstairs in case you are looking for somwhere to eat either before or afterwards.

We just saw this great show for the second time in Jan and I would say spend the extra 10 for cat. 1 seats. We were in section 204 and really enjoyed our seats. The preformers walked right by us in the beggining as started the show. you will love this show! have a great time!

I have heard this is fantastic. Is the show worth going to with children (4/7/9)? Or should we use our vacation money on things the kids would enjoy more?

Another question to add to the list. We are going in Nov on the Platinum package and was wondering if anybody knows what seats this will buy us. Also, my husband is disabled due to spinal problems and does walk fine but is unable to bend his head up to look at things overhead is there some way to obtain seats in the very back of the theater due to this problem? Thanks for any input on this.

I think it would be hard for a 4 yr old to sit still for an hour and a half. You would probably miss a lot of the show going to the restroom, concession stand, etc for the 4 yr old. I would let the 9 yr old for sure see it, and the 7 yr old is on the border, depending on if he-she can sit still for that long.

With that being said Cirque de Soleil is the "BEST"

I think you get regular seating not the preffered seats with a package at least that' s the way it was on the gold package. The stage is actually lower than the seating. The only thing you may have to look up at is the high wire act.

3darlingirls-

When we saw Cirque, our kids were just turned 3 and just turned 5! They were quiet the whole time-just watching all the wonderful things happening around them! They had a blast at the show. We did not see the restroom during the show. We saw it before the show LOL! Nor did we need to get up for anything. We saw the entire show. Each child is different. Some children are fine at a movies/shows at a young age. You know your children and their limits. Each of our kids had favorite parts of the show to talk about afterward, and each said they had a good time. The kids both remember it and want to see it again, and they are almost 6 and 8 now!

One thing you can do is go to your video/dvd store and rent Cirques: Quidam. See what your kids think. If they are able to sit through it at home, I can pretty much guarantee they can sit through La Nouba! If they enjoy Quidam on video/dvd, I can pretty much guarantee they will enjoy La Nouba

You know your kids best, so you are the one who knows the right decision for your family. I knew my kids would be fine and would get something out of it, or I would never have spent the $$$ on it. They both had/have long attention spans, and both enjoy/ed going to see plays and watching movies(sitting in a chair the whole time). Those were the basis for my confidence. It worked out for us!

Best of luck to you w/your decision.

When you go to get tickets, explain situation and ask to be put in about half way up one of the 200 sections (203 or 205; you don't need to go all the way to the back of the 200 sections). The 200 sections are the upper sections and if you are about halfway up you won't have to look up to see anything, including the high wire act.
