I thought it was worth every penny. If you have not seen a Cirque du Soliel you are in for a real treat. It is not like your typical circus. There are no animals at all in the show. It is more like a broadway play. I think your family will love it. There is no bad seat in the house. In fact, I think that the seats are better in the second level. Here is a seat map. The circus tent is very small.
We (myself, DH and DS -12) saw it for the first time this past Christmas Eve. It is a show that words cannot describe. My son was just looking through our program last night and asked if we could see it again. I am very frugal, and would gladly pay the price again.
This is a knock-your-socks-off show and worth every cent.
We were just amazed at the performances. As ubetiski said, this is not really a "circus" at all. You didn't say if you have children or not (or how old they might be), but very small children might be disappointed in this if they are expecting your typical circus-type acts.
It's really impossible to give you an accurate description of the show, but you won't be disappointed.
(How DOES that guy walk up the side of the building . . . ??)
It is totally worth it in our opinion! We saw it on our last trip and just got our tickets in the mail to see it again this August. It is an amazing show and I would recommend it highly! We make an evening of it by having dinner at one of the DD West End restaurants.
Yes, Yes, Yes !!!!!
We've been twice and I'm sure will go again. Dh and I were in awe during the whole performance. It's pricey, but it's is something you will always remember.
