Cinnections and Rain Forest Cafe

Is the lunch voucher from Connections still good at the Rain Forest and does the one in downtown Disney take it.
Since it says lunch, what is the latest time you can use it? We would like to find one to do more like a dinner.

Looking at my vouchers (yippee, I can say that now) it says "Vacation Kingdom Lunch" on them. So it would have to be for lunch. Maybe you could do a late lunch. It doesn't say anything about DD's RFC, either. I do believe they are only good at the AK RFC.

No..DD doesn't take them. We were there and had to backtrack to AK. We did enjoy some great food there (K) however. I posted on another thread about using our vouchers. Thanks to people here, we split stuffed lobster and lobster and filet. Not all of the items are on the menu! We also learned on this board, that we could get a smoothie with our voucher.

Did you specifically ask the server what items were available that were not posted on the menu, or did you ask if the lobster/filet were availalbe?

I remember reading your review, but trip planning has limited the space my brain has available. LOL

Did you get the smoothie for your drink?

Do you know what time RFC at AK closes?

We did get teh smoothie..not as good or large as Beaches, but still good. We didn't check the time they were open til, since the lunch voucher said it was good for lunch..we always went at lunch time. We were told that since their menu is the same all day, we could use it all day, but since it seems we are often told one thing at Dis and find out another thing later, we didn't want to chance it.
Don't use your free drink on the coffee's (you can't use them on the more expensive alcoholic ones..just the ~$3.00 ones). Hubby loves his coffee, and thought for that price, he would have done better with a soothie..nothing "fancy" about it at all..the cream on top, melted into the coffee before he got to get it up to his mouth..and no refills. Would have been better off, just paying sep for a regular coffee.

We said we heard they had lobster..and they said yes, two kinds...either two halfs, or the one not on the menu...the steak and lobster. When we got the steak and lobster, he suggested we upgrade to the filet. When you use vouchers, since their tip is included..they try hard to "upgrade" you to more expensive food, in my opinon. Glad they do.
