My extended family (10 of us) are going to Disney in January. With such a large group (and various ages) we don't plan to spend all of our time together. We plan to find each other via cell phones. How is the reception in the parks for Cingular phones? I'd hate to get there and realize we can't use them as I know how hard it is to find someone without a way to talk. :grouphug:

I used Cingular last year in WDW and had very few problems except like the inside queue of BTMRR. Otherwise reception was great in the parks.

I also have Cingular and had no problems last May. My wife has Verizon and it was the same story.

We used our cingular phones a few weeks ago it was pretty good except for a few places inside(like the land in epcot)

We went in June and both my husband and I have Cingulair. We did not have any problems communicating by cell phone, except in some que areas of the rides. Otherwise, reception was great and sure beats trying to find someone on those walkie-talkies!!! :)

I have cingular and I had a problem inside pop century's gift shop....other than that, I used it to change adr's quite often and I was even on the monorail and had perfect reception.
