Trying to nail down our final plans for when and where we are eating (very important, of course :woohoo:)

If we stayed for the Cinematic Spectacular at 8 pm, do you think we could get to City Walk for dinner by 9 pm? This will be on Wednesday, October 30. Not sure how long the show lasts and also just a little worried about get trapped in a huge crush of people all heading for the exits (a la Disney last August).

We're planning on watching near Duff Gardens in Springfield (if I can figure out how to reserve seating, that is).

if the show begins at 8:00, it will be over by 8:20.

watch the show at the section that is near Mels.

you will avoid the crowds on your way out.

you should not have any issues making a 9:00 ressie at city walk.

It's been at 7:30pm these past few weeks when it wasn't HHN, so unless it's on the website, it may actually be at 7:30 which would give you more than enough time to get out for dinner.

Thanks, April. I'm really glad you posted this because when I went to look at the time for the Cinematic Spectacular I discovered one of the rides we wanted to do will be closing on the day we planned to ride! We'll be able to do it on one our earlier days, though.

It is currently running at 7:30pm. I was at universal two days ago and picked up the map :) I'm wondering if they will put it at 7 next week? 7:30pm is just a pretty inconvenient time with my hotel shuttle pickup at 8.....

Btw, just a little tip. If you are on a ride and it breaks down, they give you an express pass so you can return later without a wait. Except the pass is good at any other ride as well (except HP)! So you may want to use it for rides with long waits like Minion Mayhem or Transformers. I got stuck on Disaster and Transformers on Sat and used those passes for Minion Mayhem.

How do you get that reserved seating for Cinematic Spectacular without having to book dining at Lombards?
