When we were there in the fall, I recall the french toast as being different, more like a danish. My friend just got back and told me they did not serve her the french toast either, just french toast sticks for the kids. Did Cindy's do away with this wonderful treat, or did we just happen to be there on a day when they weren't serving it?

I had breakfast there in early February and they had it. It was soooooooo good! I hope they didn't do away with it!

Lately it's been drowned underneath the blueberry sauce (sorry not only am I not a blueberry fan, but I think it is sweet enought without it). This is the way it was served in February and May when we were there. PSB had the french toast sticks. Maybe they're cutting corners now? or they ran out for that day??

We had the French toast with the blueberries inside and with the cream cheese and we were at CRT in June. My DD only was given French toast sticks though. At PSB we had waffles and they weren't very good.

Now this has me excited. French toast stuffed with cheese and covered in blueberry sauce? MMMMMMMMMM.:D

I just don't seem to remember the french toast having any blueberries at all. The one I remember was only french toast with cream cheese. Maybe since this is a treat I only enjoy once a year, I've forgotten what it was like.

Just there in June and we had the "french toast". It is more like a danish with cream cheese in the middle and the waiter even called it a danish rather than french toast. It was covered with blueberries; last year it was covered with apples. LOL Both were incredible as far as I'm concerned. ;)

We had an apple topping on our cream cheese french toast last august and it was great - I am not a big fan of blueberries either.

>>^..^<<

When we had it in 2000 it was filled with cream cheese and we
were offered a topping if we so chose. (which we didn't) It
was AWESOME by itself.

Yes! I remember the apple topping. Although the way I remember it originally, it had a more deep fried, crispy on the outside taste. On our most recent trip, it was definitely more like a danish, which I did not enjoy as much. Hopefully, if I describe it to them on our next visit, they can make it to my liking.

Glad to hear the the cream cheese french toast is still at CRT, that was my favorite item there. Agree about the waffles at PSB they were like cardboard very disappointing, cheese potatoes were very good though.

I remember the chocolate chip muffins being sinfully delicious. They were my favorite.

Interesting.....blueberry sauce. We ate there in December and it was the apples. It was very good. I do like blueberries and it sounds good. I guess we will have to go back..........:p
