Thanks sooooooo much for mentioning this. I have just juggled my schedule all around to have a lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. There will be six of us my brother and wife, neice 7, nephew 11, DH and myself. I ordered a Cindy's slipper for each of the "ladies" and the "Dog Bone Plate" for each of the gentleman. I'm keeping it a surprise from everyone!!!!! My treat!!! Thanks so much for sharing this!!! I'm SO excited, it's sounds so special!!!

Here is an initial thread posted the other day. You can follow several threads back and back which talk about Cinderella's Slipper and eventually a Mickey Dessert, and the dog bones dessert. There are pictures of the dog bones which are chocolate eau claires and Cinderella's Slipper.

Oh, you don't have to worry. I always post a full menu report, likes, dislikes and "in-betweens". I HAD to share this surprise with SOMEONE, so I showed my 19 y/o son and I think even he was impressed. Probably, because he said his girlfriend likes white chocolate and it probably gave him an idea to file away!!!

Should I hint that it would be an unbelievably romantic way to have an engagement ring tastefully arranged somewhere on the plate or glass slipper??? I'm such a romantic !!! (sigh)

I'm a dessert fanatic - is this only available at GF? I have PS there but was considering cancelling - now I may be tempted to keep it.

It is only available at the Grand Floridian, any resturant, and I would imagine maybe even your room. I called the front desk which was 407-824-3000. Then I asked for the bakery and said I had a "special order". That was it!!!

Just FYI, I called back today because I thought the "dog bone" eclairs looked kind of small and thought perhaps I could order bigger ones. She said they are each regular eclair size and compliment the slipper well. The slippers are $8.00 each and she didn't know the price of the Dalmation Dog Bones, but sounded like it wouldn't be as much.

My family just held a dinner & dessert party at the GF. I asked for the Cinderella's Slipper dessert to be added to our menu and the GF was happy to comply. We also had an adorable dessert called the Mickey Mousse Bombe -- both it and the slipper were big hits with the kids. Click here for a photo and here for a more detailed photo. I must say that the slipper dessert was delicious. I didn't get to try the Mickey Mousse Bombe, but the kids raved about it (I was too full from my dinner).
