I'm coming back to WDW in September 2006 and will be travelling with mum for the first time. I really want to suprise her and am thinking of trying to get an ADR for the Cindy's breakfast on our first day (or any day if I'm unlucky and can't get in that day.) What are the general opinions of the place on here? I've read good and bad elsewhere, what do you think of the food/service/atmosphere? If someone suprised you with a meal there, would it add extra magic to your trip, especially if you had never eaten at a sit-down restaurant in Disney before? We have both been to WDW before (mum once, me twice) but mum didn't exactly plan well last time. From what I've gathered they did about 3 rides in the MK in 14 days cos on everything else "the lines were too long" so I want to really make this trip special, especially as there's no guarantee we'll ever be there together again.

All opinions very welcome!

What Disney Resort are you going to ? The one In France or DisneyLand in the United States or DisneyWorld in the UnitedStates. Also if it's DisneyWorld do you mean Cinderella's Castle ? I may not be much help but I will do my best.

Well I think a surprise would be a good idea. I would love a surprise like this he he > But then again we are all different. You can book up to 180 days in advance for sit down eating places in DisneyWorld.

Also as for long lines you can get the fast pass on a lot of the rides. Well I hope you both have a wonderful trip and I hope you will both be very happy. You have until September of 2006 so you have a lot of time to plan. But yes plan early because it will help :) If you have anymore questions you can always contact me and I will do my best to give good advice. Have a nice day :)

If you have never been to Cindy in the castle, I guess this is one of those things you have to do it once and say you have done it. As for surprise, yes, it will be a nice surprise, as long as you don't get your hope up. Food at breakfast is not that great (for the price) and the character interactions are not as good as other princess dining (Norway and 1900 PF). You're paying for location, not food (breakfast time anyway) and not for good character interaction. But, it is something most people want to do at least once, I suppose, if you get the chance :)

I would try to get the breakfast. We just returned with our DDs from their first trip and the 1st time we ate in the castle. The breakfast was very good, and DH & I aren't really breakfast people. I also saw quite a few people, couples, etc, with no kids. Its a beautiful restaurant and a nice experience. If you can, try to get an early time. We got a seat right by the window, we got out for park opening, and got on 6 rides in the matter of an hour.
