I was going to book this dinner with the DXDP, but I just called and was told that only with breakfast and lunch do the characters visit the tables. Is this correct? Puts a damper on DD5 and my plans- we were hoping to do BBB, dinner at CRT, and MNSSHP.

Dinner is not really a character meal, but it's still really fun.

You get to meet Cinderella in the lobby and take your photo with her. Then, Suzy and Perla come around to take photos quickly (no autographs), then the Fairy Godmother and the mice do a little 'show' - the girls get magic wands and get to singalong. It's really cute. Ask for the table near the window to overlook Fantasyland.

We really enjoyed it. Have a look at my dining report if you want :)

The previous poster is correct. Dinner is not a character meal, but we still really enjoyed it too! You still get to meet Cindy in the lobby and take pics, and the fairy godmother and mice go around and do a small show, but they cannot pose for pics or do autographs.

I still recommend it because we loved the food, and atmosphere. We also had a window table and thought it was wonderful.

We are eating dinner at CRT for the first time in June. We chose dinner because our son, who will be 11, didn't want to do a "girl" dinner but wants to eat in the castle. He said he can handle meeting Cinderella and have some mice come around.

Our son is a really picky eater. Do you know if they will allow him to order off the kids' menu? We are on the Dining Plan. I know that we will still have to use his adult TS credit.

How about BBB and then a late lunch? Lunch goes until 3. :)

:thumbsup2 ITA! That is what we are doing. I was glad we were told. We are going to try for lunch at 1:30/2:00 and because of that, just eat a snack around dinner time--I think that is all our kid's bellies could handle. We figure, that lunch, then do Mickey's Philharmagic, It's A Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, and the Carousel, then queue up for Spectromagic. I'm thankful that later on in the week we are going to be able to see Dreams Come True.
