Which would you recommend? Lunch or dinner at Cindy's Castle? :jester: :smooth:

CRT is one of those more expensives rest. on property for both lunch and dinner. My advice, try it for lunch first to keep down cost. If you like it maybe you can make a dinner ressie for another day.

We had lunch there and thought it was very good and the portions were fairly large. A lot of fun as well. Factor into the price that you are in "the castle". Kind of like Coral Reef is overpriced but you get to see the aquarium.

My dd doesn't like the princesses, in fact, she is kind of scared of them. I was wondering if the decor there inside the castle was *worth* having a meal there if you aren't wanting to see characters? Is the food good for lunch and/or dinner? Would you eat there anyway even if you weren't into the princesses? Or should we just stick to other restaurants in the MK?

My vote is for dinner! It is tied for my all time favorite WDW meal. The Kingdom Feast is out of this world! The prices are not cheap, but the food is awesome.

If you do decided to go for dinner and they have PS available shortly before the fireworks are scheduled you should try for that time. It's amazing to watch the fireworks from inside the castle. Not sure how the new fireworks show will change that, but I'm sure it will still be amazing.

Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Yes. I'm not into the princesses. The food there is wonderful. Now I always get the Kingdom Feast and my husband gets the Grand Duke. We both love our meals there!

Hope you try it and enjoy it!

I vote for lunch. A less expensive way to try the castle and my favorite entree @CRT is only served at lunch--The Major Domo's Pie-Prime rib, mashed potatoes, steamed veggies inside a pastry with a wonderful gravy/sauce.

When I looked over the menu I thought the lunch menu sounded better. There was more of a variety of different things besides the usual steak or chicken type items. Lunch would also be a cheaper way to try it out for your first time before you try it for dinner.

:)

While I haven't been to the castle for dinner, we went there for lunch and had a marvelous time. This would be a great way for you to see the castle and experience the "princess" feeling without the Princesses actually being there. (Although one may be down in the lobby waiting area, so beware.)

The kids meals come with mashed potatoes and corn - a nice alternative to the constant french fries. My mom and I split the prime rib lunch meal and we each ordered an appetizer (I had the beef & barley soup and mom had the field greens salad).

Our lunch was fabulous and we will go back some day.

I've eaten both meals there and much prefer lunch. They seemed rather rushed whenever I ate dinner there. Lunch seems much more relaxed by comparison. Also, if there are any little ones in your party, I've seen Peter Pan and Captain Hook on the balcony at lunch time on my last 2 trips. Both times they were skipping around waving in the windows. It only happened a couple of times though, not constantly.

I have seen Peter Pan and Hook on the balcony at lunch also. They are partof the show that is presented in the front of the castle .
