Hi, All.

My family is having an unoffocial Magical Gathering (staying off site) and my mother is looking to taking my niece to Cindy's for breakfast. I've been blessed to get PS's for my trips the last few years, but have never tried for a group larger than 3 people. If everyone in the family wants to attend, that will be 9 (including my niece). I'd love to hear others' experiences making PS's for larger groups. Can it be done at one table or should we try to get two? Or should we try to whittle the party down to those who REALLY want to go?

I got a PS for 7 people at Cindy`s on March 2! I wasn`t even trying either! She did say that it would be two tables but they have told me that for every PS.

hth!

You should be Ok with 9 people. We had 11 people the last two trips and got CRT both times- and multiple days (we picked the one we wanted and cancelled the rest). They will split you up according to tables when you make the reservation. Just follow procedure- calling 5 min. before opening, pressing 1 once through, and interrupting the cast member to say Cindy's breakfast, 9 people, anytime. I also said 11 or as many as we can get in. I think pretty much though, if you are one of the first to get in- which you have to be to get a res. anyway, you will be OK. Just have a few people calling and good luck!
FYI- this year our cousins were traveling with my immediate family- making 13 people. When I tried to make a cindy's ps- the cm told me parties of 12 and over were automatically transferred to group dining- practically killing any chance of a ps. So I told her to just book 11 and we ended up with 2 ps for 11 people that day and reduced one to 3.

I booked CRT for 11 on 4/4/04 last week. CM said it was at 1 table. I made several other ps at Fantasmic Dinner Show, Chef
Mickey's and the ice cream social and had to split our 11 due to table sizes being smaller.

btw...I called this number: 407-939-7707 for large group ressies at the Hoop De Doo, you could try calling this number at 7am for your CRT ressies if your party falls under the large group size.

Just remember what you are told doesn't mean you will alwasy get on the day:

I was part of a group of 10 or more that did this in December. We booked through our Group Booking Master Account and was told we would have one table but lo and behold we were given 2 tables which we not happy about.

The server then unfortunately spilled OJ all over the table and over some of us before we had even all got seated. Someone was wearing a jacket which belonged to me and that got completely covered. Of course they were apologetic, we understand that mistakes happen, the manager came out and very kindly got my jacket laundered whilst he was out with us we asked him if we could move to one big table. He made this happen but the original people who had seated us were not happy by this and I have to say that we then felt we were given "attitude" by all the servers after that and to be honest it completely masked the whole eating experience for us. All this just because we asked the manager to override someone elses decision.

I don't think any of us left there feeling like princesses at all.
