I would love to try Cindys for dinner and was wondering is it hard to get a PS? Also, is the food and DESSERTS( ANY CREME BULEE ) GOOD? and is there food good for picky eaters? I looked the menu up on http://wdwig.com and it was pretty vague- So Any help would be appreciated!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

i ate there with my husband on our honeymoon. He's a 'picky' eater, and normally doesn't like steak but he ordered the prime rib as did i. He got a cut so big it wasn't on the menu and i got the queens cut. He cleaned his plate as did i.
With both loved the food and the ambiance, especially the fireworks. I would call cindys a must do, its something so unique to disney world, you can eat at nice restraunts anywhere, but where else can you eat in a castle and watch fireworks from your table?
Also note, if you like wine/alchohl with a nice dinner, remember "Its a dry kingdom", as a waiter at cindy's told my uncle on a childhood trip.

whtyger97....

We will be having dinner at Cindy's on Nov 18. A few ?'s if you don't mind. Were you near the windows? Do you have to be near the windows to see the fireworks? Someone mentioned a long time ago that you really can't see the fireworks because the windows are stained glass. I have no idea what to expect and wasn't worried about it because originally there were no fireworks scheduled....but now there are and it would be pretty neat to watch them from inside...do they play the music inside of the castle?

Thanks....

The Castle is a great experience and the food, I thought, was much better than I expected. I don't think you'll have trouble finding things you like here; the cuisine isn't exactly adventurous.

I'm the same way when it comes to being picky about the food. I think having dinner at the casle is worth the experience even if the food is not 100% to your liking.

Yes we were right by the window, we could see the fireworks fine, but i don't know how well you could see them from other points in the room. When we arrived, about 30-40 minutes before our reservation, we asked if it was possible to sit by a window. We ended up waiting about 15 min to be seated, but since we were so early, we thought that was great.
Yes they play music, instramental versions of songs from disney movies.
They also address you as princess, which is just way kewl in my book.
They turn down the lighting right before the fireworks so its easier to see them.

I believe there is a Creme Brulee now. (Last time I worked, in March, they were changing the desserts, and I think that was one we were adding). Yes you can see fireworks through the windows, however you have to request a window table (unless u get lucky which can happen!!) and the policy is it could be up to 45 mins for a window table. (can you tell i got yelled at by many people for this policy:D) They play the fantasy in the sky music and its really pretty!! As for picky eaters yeah you'll be fine as long as you like steak, chicken, pork chops or salmon/seafood. You can order all meal "plain" without any sauces or spices they are very good about that!! Have fun and enjoy!!

We also had dinner at Cindy's when we went to WDW for our honeymoon a few weeks ago. It was our first time there. So it was a "fun" dining experience because of the settings and enviornment. Since we were honeymooners, CMs dressed up our table with confettis (spelling?) and ribbons. They also gave us a window seat. At the end of our dinner, we received a pair of souvenior glasses as present.

But in terms of food, it was okay. We ordered mussle and crab cakes as appetizers, which were pretty good. Then for entree, DH had shrimps while I had queet cut prime ribs. The shrimps were dried and the ribs was okay, compared to the tenderlion which I had at Chef De France the night before. Then for dessert, we ordered sorbet and walnut ice cream. Both were fine...

So, I gave it 3 out of 4 stars. And we will go back next time just for fun.

Hope it helps.
