Is there anything special for little boys at Cindys castle (breakfast, lunch, dinner)? Or is it just for little girls? I have a little 6 yr old boy who I would like to take for a character breakfast, we currently have PS for Chef Mickeys but I would love to have a character meal in the Castle but I wont go there if there isnt anything my little boy would be interested in, such as maybe Peter Pan or Aladdin or such. Please help. Thanks.

I only know of princesses being at the Castle. I have never seen any male characters there. Especially this time around. But I could be wrong.

Unless he doesn't mind the attention of the pretty females (Mary Poppins, etc.) and Princesses (Belle, Jasmine, etc.), I would stick with Chef Mickey's.

I guess it depends on the age. I have eaten breakfast there twice and both times Peter Pan has been there. I don't know if he like him or not. Otherwise it's princesses.

Prince Charming was there when we were there. My DS went along for the ride (he has 2 younger sisters) but it was far from his favorite character meal. And it's so hard to get PS for that you might want to just choose some others. We loved Crystal Palace at MK (Pooh etc) and Garden Grille at EPCOT (Mickey, Chip, Dale), for instance. Chef Mickey's is our all-time favorite, though.

BTW, lunch isn't much more expensive than breakfast, and there's a lot more variety to the food.

I took my boys there when they were 9 and 12 and it was actually one of their favorites. They liked the atmosphere, the food, and they did enjoy the character interaction. In fact, they would like me to try and book it for our next trip. It is the only way to get in the castle, so it is not such a bad idea. If your son is totally against dining with the beautiful princesses, then I would skip it. If not, I would say go for it and enjoy!

We have done Chef Mickey's for dinner twice and my boys love that as well.

Best of luck in whatever you decide!

Kim

Do lunch or dinner. The food is better and you might glimpse Peter Pan and Captain Hook sparring outside the windows. There are no characters in the dining room at lunch but sometimes the Fairy Godmother or Cinderella will be in the waiting area downstairs. They won't approach you though so if he's not into that....or just trying to be cool...no problem.

Our sons always loved eating in the castle. You walk up a stairwell in a turret, there's lots of armour around, swords, banners, etc.. it's for anyone who enjoys Disney's attention to detail. Not a feminine atmosphere at all.

My DS's (7 & 3) love eating in the castle. We usually have lunch. They just thought it was so "cool" eating in the castle. Of course, Disney's attention to detail is fantastic, very magical as usual.
We got a picture with Cinderella last time before going upstairs to eat. My sons just looked at her and the older one said, "You are so beautiful." It was really cute. Personally, I think my DH was most excited. Ha Ha!

We had breakfast in the castle last summer and Aladdin was there. DS (6) and DD (3) both loved all of the characters.

Thanks you all for your responses. I think after reading everything, I will stick with Chef Mickeys, it sounds like I cant go wrong there since everyone gives it high marks. Thanks again.
