Cindy's Breakfast success and a question

Yipee. It's 6:03am (Central time) and I was successful. This is my fourth time and using the advice in the thread I have been successful on my first attempt each time.

If I wait until the park hours are out for 1st week of May, will I have problems with my other PS? We want to eat at a few resort rest. and if the parks are closing fairly early we would schedule dinner after park closing. If they are open later we would schedule an early dinner and then return to the park.

You might look at the park hours for May of last year, the same time you'll be there this year. It probably isn't exact, but it might give you an idea of waht to expect. You also might want to make a PS, that way you have one, then you can change them when the hours come out. Not sure what time in May you're going, but early May might be a little more busy with the 50th celebration going on.

You shouldn't have problems waiting until the park hours are out but if there are any restaurants you really have your heart set on that are popular (ie. Chef Mickey's, O'hana, etc)...I would go ahead and make those now.

Try to make them between 6-7 since this is a tough time to get if you wait til hours are posted. This way if the park closes late you'll still have time to go back and if it closes early you'll get there near closing time. (and if you want to go earlier you'll have a better chance of getting in then as opposed to the "more popular after 6" hours)

Epcot is always open until 9-9:30. And AK is usually opened until 5. MK can vary from 7 to 11 but I doubt they'll be opened late the first week of May. (maybe on Sat.) MGM varies from 7-8:30 for closing around this time.

check the top of this thread for the advise on cindy's ressies....there is text there that will help you...essentially it is push 1 then 1 once you hear that office is not closed..it by passes a lot of questions and seems to get you right in without a problem !!!

I got through this morning using the same advice! This board is the way to know how to hit it every time!! We always manage to get several during our trip that we cancel once we decide which day we want.

We are going first week of May, and have for many years. The hours stated above are traditionally the case. I have been told it may vary this year with the 5/5 celebration but we'll have to wait and see. I usually do many ps in advance then re-arrange after we arrive. The biggies get full (character meals, O'Hana, etc) but the rest are ususally pretty easy to change even once you are there. I have always found discrepancy between the hours posted on this site, the official WDW site and the actual park hours. Not usually huge but different none the less. I always consider it a guess until someone in a Wilderness Lodge costume tells me otherwise!
