We have a breakfast ressie at Cinderella's for 8:05 on a morning that the MK does not open until 9:00. We prefer to drive our own car when we are in the world. How do we get to the MK? What time can we get on the monorail?
Thanks in Advance !!:D

I would try to be at TTC at least 30-45 before your PS. In December, they wouldn't let people go on the monorails or ferry yet, UNLESS you had an early PS. There was a cast member by the gate to the monorail who let us on when we told her we had a PS. It was pretty cool, we had our own private monorail! Once you get to MK, go the the far left-hand turnstyle. There will be a CM with a list of PSs who will check you off and let you into the park.

We just did this a couple weeks ago. Park at the Ticket & Transportation Center. We were there at 7 a.m. or a little after and they already had people directing traffic to parking places. There will be someone there keeping people from crossing to the monorail station. Tell him/her that you have breakfast reservations. They will direct you to the resort monorail. There are 2 or 3 stops before Magic Kingdom. When you get to Magic Kingdom and pass through security, to the far right will be one or two people checking people in for breakfast. Make sure you take your priority seating number in case of a problem.

Incidentally, if you ever leave MK at night, the resort monorail is often less crowded than the express monorail and takes you to the TTC as well.

Have a great time.

Character Breakfast busses start running at 7:00am.

However, should you choose to drive your own car, simply follow the easy signs to the Magic Kingdom parking. They open at 7:00am. Trams will not be running at this time, so you do have to walk to the TTC from the parking lot.

From the TTC, you will need to tell them that you have a priority seating to board the monorail. The only monorail in operation at that time will be the Resort Monorail. Be advised, the Resort Monorail will not service the Magic Kingdom until 7:30. This means that if the train pulls in, and it is 7:28... the doors will not open.

Actually... that's not quite true. When the Express train pulls in, it's empty. We can move 350 people every 3 minutes. From the MK to the TTC, it is a non-stop 3 minute ride.

The Resort train doesnt run nearly as frequently, and can often times have a 5-10 minute wait for the next train. When the train pulls in, it's already half full. In addition, depending on the time, only half of the doors will open. Once the train leaves, it has to make stops at the Contemporary before it heads off to the TTC. Often times this stop will be 5 minutes in length.

The Resort Monorail is specifically reserved for those guests travelling to the resorts, whether they be for dinner, or to go back to thier room. If you are travelling to the Transportation and Ticket Center, we do ask that you use the Express Monorail. Despite that huge line, it *IS* quicker.
