Sheehan's an easy target for those that remain in denial. She says outrageous things,which makes her an attractive candidate for war supporters to make the "face" of those that now realize what a folly the decision was to go to war. They would much rather make her outrageous statements the focus of the debate than the outrageous statements from the other side, the most recent of which was VP Cheney's statement that the insurgency was in its last throes.

A. I have two kids (the other two are my niece and nephew)

And what a lovely picture they all make.

B. There's this handy dandy little feature on the DIS. Click on the number of posts and it lists everyone who's posted. It took me 2 seconds. Whew, how could I manage that AND get anything done?

Wow, I didn't know that. But, now that I do know it, I think I'll start keeping book of how many posts people make to a given thread. Never know when it might come in handy.

Sheehan's wont be the last person to say things outragous. I remember just a few weeks ago a former first lady saying that the evacues were better of in a giant stadium than they were before the Huricane , since , after all , they were poor. I am sure she meant well , but one stupid comment does not erase all the good work she has done as a first lady.


There is web site that shows very graphic pictures of American soldiers with there " hunting " trophee , like a ripped arm dangeling from the celling , or giving the thums up to charred remains or Irakies. Should I judge all the American soldiers based on these ? Surely not. But it is easier to go after a women who manage to get 100 000 people in the streets than to look at certain reality of war. It is amazing what people can do with digital pictures using software programs like Adobe Photoshop. One can create what appears to be realistic pictures. You should be careful not to believe everything you read and especially see on the Internet. Hoaxes and frauds abound.
