Okay so this will be my first trip alone with my DD14. It's going to be a surprise birthday trip and we have free dining. She really likes eating at Lecellier, but we have eaten there the past two years in a row and it is a two table dining credit now. She does enjoy character dining but also enjoys the taste of her food lol So I am told the experience of dining in the castle is not one to be missed and it is a mother daughter trip (DBF just went into the Navy and the past trips I could never get him near Cindy's table, the closest we got was Akershus!) I was wondering is the food and experience there worth the two dining credits or should I just stick with my Lecellier ressie? Thanks!

I think everyone should do Cinderlla's Roundtable once. It is a unique experience and should not be missed. We used to go at least twice per trip trip prior to it becoming a 2-ticket, character-dining experience. We have only gone once in the past five trips since it switched over. It is not as good as it once was foodwise, but is still a good experience.

We loving dining in the Castle, even though it has changed, over the years. The food and atmophere are good, and would be a wonderful birthday surprise. BTW, gratuity is included at CRT, also a photo with Cinderella.

LeCellier is good, but has been a hit and miss for us. Not really sure if it's worth 2 credits.

For some reason I am thinking that I read Le Cellier is one credit for lunch, if true you may be able to get there without using two credits. At the Castle they will bring her out a cupcake with a candle for her birthday from the Princesses.

And if you can, get a reservation for breakfast *before* the park opens- you get to run in before anyone else and you can get some amazing shots of the castle and Main Street totally deserted. It's also really cool to watch Fantasyland come alive during the morning. And the stuffed french toast is DELICIOUS! Enjoy your trip!! Happy Birthday to your DD!!!

Thanks for all the input I opted for an 8:15 ressie since my DD is 14 and she can stay up late I was also hoping to catch wishes while we are there because I read they lower the lighting and pipe the music in and it can be a wonderful experience as well as not too crowded at that time:goodvibes

Is gratuity also included if you are using the dining plan or is it only if your paying oop?
