Do you think Cinderella's Royal Table is really worth two credits? I would appreciate any insight from those who have been. Thanks:)

I am interested in this answer too!!
Our Family did Dinner at askershus, and My Daughter loved seeing ALL the princesses. And we Got a FREE picture with Aurora! How does Cinderella's Castle compare?

I think it is worth 2 credits for the experience. The food was okay- we went for lunch, and everyone liked what they ordered. I think I enjoyed being in the castle, getting our picture taken with Cinderella, and the atmosphere more than I enjoyed the food.

I agree it is worth the experience, as a father of three ,two being girls, we went to breakfast 6 years ago and my daughter loved it. We are booked for August of 2011 and my youngest daughter ,3, absolutely loves the princesses. Their faces when Cinderella comes out is worth any amount of money. Remember its all about memories !!!!

to me the food is not worth 2 credits but for the experience it is. Every Princess should eat there once IMO

I have eaten at CRT twice now, once for breakfast and once for dinner. I loved it both times and I am 36. I think the food is fine and it's really awesome for this little kid trapped in a big kid's body to be able to eat inside the castle. I agree that every princess, no matter her age should eat there at least once in her life.

Which meal are you asking about? From a financial point of view, it's kind of a toss up. During the regular (non-peak) season, the price for an adult is $50 for breakfast, $53 for lunch, and $62 for dinner (taxes and tip included) - so you have to see if you have other meals you'd rather do that would cost more and be "better" use of the credit(s).

On the other hand, eating in the castle is a lot of fun. As other posters have said, the food is okay, but it's the experience that makes it worth it. If you've never eaten at CRT, then I would recommend giving it a try.

ABSOLUTELY! Eating in the Castle is the most magical meal of our trip every year. My daughter is going to be 5 and this will be our third trip. We will eat here every year...I don't know who is more excited to be there, her or me! :yay: That being said...we have done dinner and lunch there. Our family prefers the lunch. The food was far more our style! Enjoy, it is amazing!

hmmm, we did both last sept. we paid oop. I'm trying to decide if I would have been willing to pay double for crt which is essentially what 2 credits vs 1credit is, right? not sure. On one hand it was really fun to be at the castle and there's more of a show aspect to it. The kids get the wand and they do the wish, its cute! But, if your main goal is to eat with princesses, akershus will definitely do the job at half the price. You get the included pic at both. I thought the food was good at both.

I'm glad we were able to do both!

Thank you so much for all your experiences! The cost didn't really matter as we have free dining I just wanted to make sure it was worth 2 dining credits. It sounds like my daughter will absolutely LOVE IT! My boys on the other hand I hope they enjoy it a little. But as you all have stated every princess needs to experience the castle at least once in their lifetime. I am glad to see you also get a picture with this experience is the same picture package as the Norway princess package? Thank again for all you advice! We are all booked for our upcoming trip! VERY EXCITED!:thumbsup2

Personally speaking, I'd say no. The only reason I'm willing to pay 2TS for it is because it's in the castle and there's no other way to take my kids to eat in the castle.

With that in mind, if eating in the castle is a "must do" for you, then yes - CRT is worth the 2TS. If, however, you only care about seeing the princesses and the castle isn't important, I'd save 1TS and go to Akershus at Epcot. AWESOME character interaction and good food.

If you are going with a DD then yes it is worth it. I have always made this place a must. However, i went in 2008 for lunch and was not impressed, my DD was 2 and basically couldnt order much of anything unless i was willing to pay $30 for Chicken Fingers. Now she is 4 and we had ADR for Breakfast, and then the Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique. But all in all it is worth the 2. Have fun

We are thinking that Cinderella's Royal Table might be fun for hubby's birthday. I mentioned it to him and he seemed pretty interested, so I think that will be the plan.

My daughter is 15 now, she still talks about eating in Cinderella's Castle when she was 5. She says she remember how big and grande it was as well..

The food was pretty good (Breakfast) and the CM were WONDERFUL. I can still see the look on her face when Cinderella walked up to her and told her that she had been waiting for along time for my daughter to join her in her home.

We are going back this Dec. and I don't care if we have NO other meals, as long as we have Breakfast with Cinderella. Even though it costs us 2 credits, the memories are so well worth it.:cheer2:

I agree, except we eat there for dinner. If we were not on the DDP, we probably would not be going to this restaurant (we always get the DxDP so that helps a lot). However the experience of just being in the castle, the free picture with Cinderella, and the whole atmosphere is definitely worth the extra credit. We also do Akershus for breakfast every trip (a must do for us), but to us the food is much better and so is the princess interaction, but it is nothing like eating in the Castle.

My boyfriend and I went last year for dinner. The food was good (I had a pasta dish and a salad). I LOVED being in the Castle. It was an awesome experience. Someone proposed to their girlfriend while we were there and that made it even more special. I already made plans to go back again. WE were on the DP last time and will be paying OOP this time. I think it is worth it either way.

I have also done the Akerhaus and I prefer CRT because I like the sit down dinner vs. buffet.

My Dh and I are going just the two of us for breakfast. We are more interested in the castle atmosphere then actually spending time with the Princess's but hoping it will be an all-around awesome experience!! princess:

It is all about the whole experience and not so much the food, which is okay. But it is worth it to us.

I agree with most of the PP's. Do it once to say you have done it, but the food and the service were not worth the dinner credits it took.

We did this for the last dinner in the parks with the family. We got pictures with Cinderella and a few pics with Fairy Godmother. These are now prodly displayed in our game room.

Eating in the castle was a fun experience for the family, but my girls preferred CP and LTT. My son was 2.5 years old.. so he did have fun sword fighting with the boy behind him...

I would encourage you going if u have nothing better to do with the 2 Credits.
