Really... How hard is it to get into Cinderella's Royal Table for a meal? DH and I will be going from August 22 to 28 and would like to have a meal (doesn't matter which one). Also, if we arrive on August 22, when can we start making reservations? Any tips?

We will be dining there for the first time in May. We booked dinner and had no problems getting our day and time. We were amazed at how easy it was after reading all the post on here about the challenge of getting CRT!

I would call the first day you can. I tried to get into breakfast or lunch, booked the whole time we are there! I could get a dinner reservation, but there was only 1 time slot. Good luck!

We called about 6 weeks in advance and were able to get a late lunch for a small party. The CM seemed suprised that something was available, so I would call as soon as possible. :goodvibes

Crt is ussually hard for breakfast and lunch for that is when the princesses are there. They come individually to each and every table for pictures and interaction. NO character interaction for dinner at least when we went, so sometimes easier to get. If have had to pick 1 it would be the breakfast, for we liked the food better. I don't think you can go wronge no matter what you pick you are in the castle after all and it is amazing. We have to eat there everytime we go and I get goosebumps everytime. Just make sure to make your res the 1st available date you can w/ the 90 day ADR window you should be fine. It is truley magical ENJOY!princess:

Here's the calculator to use to determine when to call for your 90 day mark. (ADRs used to be called PS "priority seating" that's why it's the PS Calculator)

I've dined at CRT twice before for breakfast and didn't have a problem getting an ADR. The first time I did call at 7am on the 90 day mark. The second time, I just asked and they had a cancelation. It's true, dinner is easier to get since there are no princesses (just fairy godmother and mice). We're trying dinner this June.

If you can't get an ADR, just keep trying. This reservation needs to be held with a CC and people have to call to cancel - and they do! If your persistant, you'll get in!

Good luck! It's really magical dining in the castle! :wizard:

I just called last week for our trip in May. Party of 4 adults for CRT dinner - rep gave me 4 open timeslots for dinner the night I wanted 5/18. Not sure if it was just a fluke but we had no trouble getting our day.

this mentioned, but if you are staying on site you can call 90 days before your check-in date and make all of your ADRs.

The previous posters have provided a lot of good information. The time your going may have "free dining". That's been offered the last few years starting towards the end of August with the announcement coming sometime in April. In case this is offered again this year a) be ready to make your ADRs at your 90 day mark, things will fill up fast and b) keep an eye out on these boards for an announcement.

BTW - we have eaten lunch at CRT a couple of times. Lunch fits better with our dining and touring habits and I like the food. Dinner has limited character interaction while breakfast and lunch have four princesses and/or leading ladies at the meal.

I added a CRT dinner a month and half in advance. We had no plans on getting the DDP and then we decided to do it one more year and we decided to add CRT because we would not normally pay OOP for it. So when I called, there were many times available for 4 for dinner. I was quite surprised because it was still allowing 180 days in advance for CRT so I didn't put much hope in it when I called. Apparently, it is much more popular for breakfast because of the characters. So, good for me!:cool1:

Anyways, I would assume that the dinner is easier to get if you are not too choosy about which meal.;)

It is all in the timing.

Since you will be going in the summer when most kids are not in school, it probably will be more difficult to get a reservation. You should try to book as soon as possible - they do require a credit card deposit when you reserve.

If you can't get in to at CRT the princess breakfast at Askerus in Norway at EPCOT is a really great option.

We had a little bit of trouble getting the times we wanted just because we were a family of 5. Then we moved from a group of 5 to 7, so we had to be a little flexible, but they definitely had plenty of times for us throughout the week. It was just a matter of being a bit more flexible. We are going in May. I know we had reserved for our family of 5 at 180 days out, but then ended up changing them at around 100 days out to accomadate our group of 7.

I booked mine as soon as I could and called to change something at about 90 days out (was 180 days out) and still got what I wanted.

I've heard that it's easier to get into than it used to be.

Try at your 90 day mark (before check in)

If you can't get it at that time, call again in the morning 90 days before you're dining there.

If that still doesn't work, cancellations occur all the time, most within the last few weeks before the trip because of the pre-payment.

Hi guys! I'm hoping to go to CRT in September. I'm a little confused about how the deposit works if you are on the DDP, i.e. do I have to pay it when I make my ADR? If so, how much is it and when will the amount be reimbursed? Thanks! :thumbsup2

They just take your CC as a guarantee and they don't charge it if you are on the DDP.

hi, that was a good question about how to pay for crt when you book your adr if you are on the dining plan. but does anyone know how it works if you are using the tables in wonderland card? if they charge the whole meal when you make the adr, when do they take the 20% off? tia

They take a credit card number to reserve the spot but they don't charge you unless you don't show up. You will not be charged otherwise.

I have a dinner reservation, but from what I am reading at dinner there isn't any characters? I am going with kids so we want that. Should I change till breakfast? When you make the reservations and not on the food plan do you get charged now? We were going to do a dinner package but changed it.
