Cinderella's Royal Table

Is Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast/Lunch all that its cracked up to be? We are planning on going, but we don't know if it is that great. There will be 3 adults going and one 16 year old. I was thinking we might all be a little to old for this but I am totally unsure. If you enjoyed it and think we would please post back. If you did like it did u prefer lunch or breakfast?

We did breakfast there with my dd (10) and my dn (7) I loved the idea we were eating in the castle, it was incredible looking out the window from the table. The Princesses were delightful and we got great pictures with them, and of course the interaction with our girls was priceless.
The food was good and plentiful, we asked for seconds on everything and our server brought them out without hesitation. I think everyone should experience it once!

I have done the meal several times, all but once without kids. I really enjoy the setting, and the food. And flirting with the princesses is harmless fun.

The key is to think of it as a "unique Disney experience". If you look at it as just a meal, it's really unlikely that you'll be satisfied for the price you're going to pay. But if you're the type of visitors that will think of dining inside the most visible icon in all of WDW, with a great view of Fantasyland, as just a neat thing to do, you'll probably enjoy yourselves. (If the 16-YO is in one of those surly, "this is so boring" phases, that could wreck the mood, I suppose.)

Having said all that - you know yourself best, hope this gives you some info to consider.

We went on the free meal plan for lunch. If you're going for the food only, skip it. Not worth it. Not that it's terrible. It's good. But Disney has better food options available at the same or even a lesser price. But it's a once in a lifetime experience to eat in the castle with Cinderella, Aurora, Mary Poppins, and Snow White. We got a window seat in the castle overlooking fantasy land. It was really nice. Like I said. You really have to do it once.

It was $24 or one dining credit. At that, I thought it was worth it. I would go back at that price. I will, however, not go back if as i've noticed in another thread it is $33 and two credits on the plan. But I would go once even at that price. Like I said. Once in a lifetime experience.

I'll be trying breakfast with DMIL, DH, DD (2) in 2 weeks....I'll let you know how it was!

Don't go just for the food, it is just ok. What you are paying for is the experience to dine in the castle with the princesses which is fun. We went for DD's first bday. It was myself, DH, DD, and my parents. To go without a child wouldn't be for us. There were people there without young children.
