We're on the DP... only have one day at MK. Should we dine at CRT for dinner? We're going for the most 'Disney' esperience possible for our first trip!

TIA!

We had a horrible experience at CRT for dinner back in March. We have gone there every trip. But we will NOT be going back again.

If I were you, I would eat somewhere else. There are SO many better resturants in the MK. LTT & CP are our favorites. Great characters, good food & a lot of fun.

I did CRT solo for lunch. I'm glad that I did it .... *ONE TIME ONLY*.
I got a window seat which was great, especially solo. I thought the menu had so few choices that I liked, so I ordered a chicken caesar salad as my full lunch. The food was OK - not special, and I thought it was WAY overpriced. I probably would not do this one again.

You should make sure to look at the menu before making the ADR.

We did the character breakfast at CRT on our last visit and it was nice, but very overpriced. The food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Our kids really enjoyed meeting the princesses, but we don't plan to go again on this trip. There are so many more wonderful places to go.

It was a once in a lifetime experience at one credit.
We went at lunch. There wasn't all that much selection and the only restaurant on site where we thought the food was not as good was Marrakesh. It wasn't bad, just nothing all that special.

Breakfast or lunch are the true character meals. I would have no interest in Dinner.

I know I wouldn't go a second time for two credits and likely wouldn't for 1 with 1900 Park Faire available. But if you've never been before, it's something you gotta do once. I certainly would hesitate on the two credits though. Maybe try for breakfast and pay out of pocket for mother and daughter and leave son and father out if they don't want to go.

For two credits there is no way I'd do CRT. I was one of those people who did it every trip, just for the atmosphere (never did like the food). I took my GD there for breakfast in Jan '05 and again for lunch in Jan '06. I took my son and D-I-L there for breakfast last Sept during the free dining when it was just one credit. I also took my 73 y/o mom there last Dec for her first ever trip (before the price increase). All four times last year I thought it was way overpriced for mediocre food. With the changes where Cinderella is now only downstairs at breakfast and lunch and they raised the price (to include a bunch of pictures) it's just not worth it. My understanding is that for dinner it is only the Fairy Godmother and the Mice. Again, no way I'd waste two credits on it.

Just FYI: My GD really prefers Crystal Palace over CRT anyway.
