I'm attempting to calculate costs of our meals for our April 2009 trip. I'm trying to decide between DDP & DDE (or both). I'm looking though menus at AllEars and averaging prices where I can. Here's where I need you help. We have lunch rerservations for CRT. According to AllEars, the cost is $37.99 Adult / $24.99 child we have 2 adults and one child. OUr cost should be $101 before tax & tip, right? When I booked the reservation, they charged my CC $136. Even if I factor in them adding 20% tip now, that's only $121. Is the remaining $15 all taxes? If so, WOW!
Do they add the tip to the cost when I make the reservation? If not, is the extra money for the photos? It shouldn't be because those are supposed to be included in the price of my meal.

Edited to add that if we do go with the DDP, I wouldn't use two TS credits for this meal. I'd pay out of pocket and use the DDP to get my 20% discount.

When exactly are you going? Is it over a holiday? They have holiday surcharges that are something like $4 pp over the regular prices.

is that Apr 5 - 18 is subject to a seasonal surcharge which should add about $10 + tax + tip if you're dining during that time.

Curses! Yup, that's it! It wouldn't be my choice to go during this week, but DH is a teacher & DD is in 2nd grade. We go when they have Spring Break. Thank you both for your help.

that's why the dates are chosen. Pretty much the whole summer is pegged for "holiday" pricing right now.
