After you left with your son, nobody still came to help your dh clean up the vomit? I can't imagine being at a table close by and knowing what happened and then have to start smelling vomit while I was eating. (not that you had any control over your ds vomiting). I can't imagine other diners just sitting there and not getting annoyed if no one helped with the clean up. Obviously you need more then baby wipes to clean up vomit. I myself would of probably thought that your waiter knew about the slipper since you mentioned it at check-in but probably as a learning experience to all of us, probably best to mention it to the waiter/waitress as well when you arrive (in private).
