My family and I are planning a trip to WDW Nov 9-18th, and we would love to do at least one character meal or dinner show (DD6 princess: , nephew 8 pirate: and neice 4 princess: are disney fanatics like the rest of us). I have heard mixed reviews about the food and characters at CRT. Is it worth the $, or should we look into the Backyard BBQ or Hoop-Dee-Doo Review? Any input will be greatly appreciated! :wave2:

There are other places that you can do a character meal, like Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree Tavern just to name a few. I personally dont feel the price it worth is at Cinderella's Royal Table. But everyone's taste are different. If you really wanted to do a show with the little ones I would recommend Backyard BBQ. The kids will get to dance with the characters. Plenty of food and drink for the adults.

To see the inside of the castle and to have the view of the park is worthwhile once. The food is ok and the princesses do come around to each table. There's plenty of opportunity for pics and video.

With this said once is enough. It seems overly noisy here compared to the rest of the eating places.

I think the other ones you mentioned are more fun for the kids. To an extent it's more formal at the castle.

It just depends on how into princesses your DD & DN are. The look on my 2 DD's faces when the princesses came out was priceless...I get teary eyed just thinking of it. The restaurant is beautiful and the character interaction has always been wonderful for us. Oh yeah and they serve good food also. We don't really go for the food, it's the exprerience that we know will only be "special" while the girls are little.

In my opinon no. We did it last year, my daughter was 7 thn, and she was not really wowed by it. The food was not good and honestly, half of the characters were rude and obviously rushed.

We did it,the food was overpriced and in MHO horrible. Yiou can get great Princess interaction at toon town.If it's breakfast your looking for I think Crystal Palace is the best, jusy my opinion ...food is great, the Pooh characters are always friednly and interact great. I never miss Crystal Palace.

Thanks. We have done the princess breakfast at Norway in EPCOT - and I have to say, it was one of the best character breakfasts I have been too...good food and the princesses were great. It sounds like we may be going to the backyard BBQ...lots of food and drinks...what more could we possible need? For the amount of money it costs, we may get more bang for our buck! Thanks again for your input!

We did CRT without reading the menu. DS didn't like anything. Our waiter ended up running to Tony's to get him a bowl of cereal. Definately not worth it in our case.
