Cinderellas Royal Table good for a couple?

I think it is a great place to go for your honeymoon! DH and I had dinner there on the first night of our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. All of the servers and performers made us feel so special and we still use the champagne flutes we received on special occasions. As far as being overwhelmed by kids....we were so thrilled to be eating in the castle, we didn't even notice the people around us. Is the food good? No. Will we ever go there again? Probably not. But, so what? Go for the experience! You won't regret it. :)

Congratulations!
My DH and I celebrated our honeymoon in Disneyworld 10 years ago and one of our hilights was having dinner at CRT. We requested a window seat and the table was decorated with streamers and Mickey confetti. They even presented us with souvenier CRT champagne flutes which we still have!
It truly was a memorable and magical experience!

We had the exact same experience also 10 years ago on our honeymoon :lovestruc

in fact i was just looking at those glasses the other day in my cabinet, and DH and I started talking about what a wonderful gift it was from Disney.

Looooong term planner :lmao: thinking about CRT on Valentines Day 2013 for DW & moi. She really has her heart set on eating in the castle but the current dinner offerings aren't doing it for me. Does CRT open up an hour before the park opens on morning EMH for breakfast or is it the standard opening time on those days and you just get in when the park opens? Does anyone know if there is likely to be special menus, events and such for dinners on VD?

Thanks for all the input! :lovestruc

I don't really mind if the food isn't great. I wish it wasn't 2 dining credits but we are staying at the hotel for 6 nights and only actually going to WDW for 5 days (we are also going to Universal Studios most likely) so we have an extra dining credit to use.

I am up for suggestions for any other restaurants anyone wants to recommend :)

Was the food good? No not really...BUT, I loved being inside the castle...

In fact, I am debating if we should make a breakfast ressie for an upcoming trip, but my dad will be with us....SO three adults...is that weird? :confused3

I got to eat in the castle for the first time this past October. A young couple seated by the window got engaged while we were there. After the young man gave the girl the engagement ring, we all sighed! princess::bride:
I would not worry one bit about feeling out of place!
