Hi all

Does anyone think that Cinderellas Royal Table would be a nice place to eat on the eve of our Wedding? We arrive at 14.00 on Aug 16th and I am just wondering as I want to start looking at booking my ADR's.

Is this a nice place to eat, I hear that if you time it right you can see the fireworks, which I thought would be lovely and romantic. What are your thoughts on this?

Sadly, I've never had the chance to eat there. I agree that it would be romantic, but check the menu before you go, and call ahead and tell them that it's your wedding day. :)

That's a wonderful idea. Definitely tell them you're there for your wedding because those window seats are hard to come by and it might give you an edge ;) The food is really good and I think watching the fireworks during dinner would be very romantic!!

Sounds like a great idea!! The food is great there and its just so cool being in the castle. I think you can make reservations 180 days in advance now, so I would do that ASAP! Good luck!

crt is a great restaurant & the ambiance of the castle is so cool. the menu is really good too, i had my bridal lunch there & i had salmon with risotto. i also got free glasses because we were getting married at disney. so make sure to mention its a special event.

fyi though you cant wear your wedding attire into the park & you have to pay for the meal in advance.

best wishes!

This restaurant was FABULOUS... I TOTALLY recommend it... The food is excellent :surfweb: I hope you enjoy it

Do that every chance you get because the pixie dust will really fly........... :sunny:

we are having our reception meal at crt as we wanted something extra special. Our girls are obsessive about Disney princesses so its good for them too.

I've eaten at CRT for dinner a couple of times, and it's a wonderful way to end the day!

When you check in downstairs, be sure to ask for a window table, otherwise they will seat you at the first available. If you ask, they may let you wait a few extra minutes for the window - and it is worth it.

You should know, though, that you can't "see" the fireworks in the traditional way because you're literally in the middle of them! You'll see many of them launch and be surrounded by tons of light of different colors. It is awesome but if you are a real fireworks buff, it may be a bit disappointing in that way. It's kind of like having VIP access to watch someone set off a fireworks show, but you have to stay under a tent since you can't look directly up. Sorry, I'm not sure how to explain this better!

There is one thing that is MOST magical for me - I've gotten to do it a few times now (I am FAMOUS for being the last guest out a park!) is that if you take one of the latest seatings, you'll have the fireworks during your dinner. Unless it's an EMH day, most people will leave the park while you're having dessert and coffee. That means when you exit the castle, the park is quiet - just you and your FH, with the music and the lights down Main Street. It's absolutely magical, like the Magic Kingdom belongs just to you for a few precious minutes. Security will follow at a distance to make sure you walk down Main Street and exit, but they usually stay back enough to create the illusion of privacy. These are truly some of my very favorite Disney memories - walking down Main Street like the Kingdom was open just for us... it's a special thing!

Good luck with getting your reservation - and don't give up if you can't get it on the first try. Things open up at CRT even at the last minute, so just keep calling!
