I have ADR for CRT and I have read mixed reviews on it. I have 2 DDs' 8 and 9 years of age and we are celebrating their b-days @ WDW on 09/17-09/23. I really need some help!! Is it really as bad as some of the reviews I have read or is it great?? I know some people are harder to please and my husband is a chef(not really concerned about him). Should I keep my ADR or try something else? ME:earsgirl: DH:earsboy:DD ::MinnieMo DD:tink: ?

Hi! We did CRT even with the negative reviews. The food was okay, but the atmosphere was really fun. I did it once and probably will not do it again.

I will try it and see how it goes. I just hate that with all the neg reviews it does take two Disney Dining credits. I think my kiddos will enjoy just being in the castle. I hope the food is better than what I have heard/read:)

We have done the lunch and found the food very good. I have had a few friends go for dinner and they were dissappointed in the food. Now, with that said, everyone will have a different opinion on this. The atmosphere is great and your kids will love eating in Cinderella's castle. What Dinsey loving child wouldn't?

We have done all, breakfast lunch and dinner. The Breakfast and lunch of course have all the princesses and it was a lot of fun, busy time, food was good. We had children with us for these meals.

Dinner is different more relaxed, just the Fairygodmother and mice come in for a short skit song and no signatures, posing etc. Cinderella is down stairs to greet and make pictures. We had adults only for the dinner and found the food good. I think many people are expecting so much more from the food since it cost so much, or 2 dinner credit on meal plan (Along the lines of any other 2 TS restaurant.) We found the food good and enjoyable.

So if you want the princess experience you need to make it for lunch or breakfast. Either way go it is the Castle and it is fun:goodvibes :thumbsup2

I'm going to be having dinner at the castle on 9/11 and I have a proposal package arranged through them as well!!! I can't wait, my soon to be fiance will end up with a glass slipper with our names and dates on it and the other side will say "will you be my princess". I hope the food is good there but even if its not that great she still gets engaged at the most perfect place at the World!!!!

OMG - what a wonderful surprise that will be......how exciting!!

Do you have to have a park entry ticket to go to cinderella's castle for a meal?

Me and DBF went for dinner last year and liked it so much that we're going back again this year :goodvibes
What you have to remember is that even though it's 2TS credits you're paying for the experience and atmosphere, not the quality of the food. We did find the food to be quite good, neither of us was disappointed, but I wouldn't compare it to other signature meals like California Grill or Narcoosees.

I agree though that if you're going strictly for the princesses you should probably do breakfast or lunch as at dinner Cinderella never enters the dining room. You do get pictures with her before but that's the only time you see her.

I am so glad I read this thread. I didn't realize that the princesses were not there for dinner. It is just DH and I but he complained last trip that he never got to see a princess so I was going to make him go to this. I guess I will change it to lunch instead of dinner (of course we have a long wait ahead of us until our next trip but I am already planning!!)

in my experience, suzy and perla absolutely made rounds for photos, but did not sign, but it might have been that the place was less than half empty at the time, i dunno.

the food was great for me, the service was top notch. i would not normally feel great about paying $40 for a meal, that's all.

My DW and I went to the breakfast at the castle, yes we are 2 over 50 "big kids". We loved it !! The food was very good, the service was fast and friendly, and the visits from all of the princesses were friendly, with enough time for photos and autographs. We will go back again.

We went there for dinner...me, Dh, 2dds, dgm, and dgp... We all loved the atmosphere and just being in the castle. The pretzel bread was really good, with this honey-mustard butter...do they still have that?? I got the chicken and found it to be really yucky (and I am soooo not picky) The waitress came over and said, Is there something wrong, m'lady? Then she sweetly brought me a different entree. Also, it was our anniversary that week, and they brought out a nice dessert, a certificate and two Cinderella champagne flutes for us to keep. The food is just ok, but the experience is so great! Go!!! Enjoy!!! princess:

We're going to be there that night too! We have 6:30 ADR - when are yours?

I am keeping my ADR for CRT. I know my 8 and 9 year old will love the fact that they are eating in the castle and I think this will make a great ending for the evening..I almost forgot, we will go right to the Not so scary halloween party! So, they will enjoy that whole evening 09/21/2007. I think Adam rocks, what a wonderful place to propose to your princess!! I hope you guys have a magical evening!!
