Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast?

We have never eaten at Cinderella's Royal Table and decided to try it out for our April trip. This is also the 1st trip that we're staying off site so I can only reserve one day at a time. My plan for Easter was to eat at 1900 Park Fare for brunch (we've done this on Easter before and loved it) and then have dinner at CRT. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any availability whatsoever for 1900 Park Fare brunch and nothing for CRT for dinner.

I was able to get a CRT reservation for breakfast. Please tell me your thoughts on this. Is it good? I would much rather do dinner but we'll do the breakfast to experience the castle if that's all that's available. I'll keep trying for a dinner, but in the meantime, please sell me on the breakfast!

I’ve never done dinner, but based on the reviews of dinner, never had a desire to either. Breakfast I’ve done twice and think is very good and the better option. It’s obviously expensive, but cheaper than dinner and you are paying for the experience.

If you've never done it I highly recommend it at least once. I have girls so I have done it about 4 times for breakfast. The food is actually better that a lot of reviewers have said, it is over priced? Well its Disney so the answer is a big yes. But if you have kids its well worth it. As the girls got older they still wanted the princess thing but they understood better the cost and they switched to breakfast at Akershus.

Our kids will be 14 (DS), 12 (DD), and 9(DS) when we go. We probably should have done it when they were younger but just never did. I figured we can do it now while they still think the castle is cool. My DD has Down syndrome and is still really into the princesses. I don’t know if we’ll ever do it again but we just want the experience of seeing the castle.

I did breakfast in March. Unfortunately, my friend's daughter, who we made the reservation for, was in a mood and spent half the time in the bathroom because she wouldn't behave. It was really awkward and quite the bummer.

Anyway, I had the Apple French Toast and it was fantastic. The pastries were also good. The place is beautiful, and the view of Fantasyland was great. I highly recommend, and I hope I can have a better time there in the future. My friend's food was cold by the time she got to it, so I can't speak to her food.
