I keep hearing about Cinderella's Royal Table and how wonderful the Character Breakfast is, but would it be a good choice for boys? My two boys are very little (age three and age 1), but still... Maybe Crystal Palace would be better for them?

My oldest is really excited about seeing the castle. He's seen it on all our Disney videos, and I tell him that is where Cinderella lives, though he doesn't know who she is...yet :) Maybe just seeing the castle is enough. No need to go in for a meal? But like I said, I just keep hearing how great it is.

Anyway, your advice, as always, is much appreciated. Thanks.

It's worth a visit while your boys are too young to think princesses are for girls and girls are yucky.

My kids are boys, and I took them a few years ago when they were 9 and 4. The 4 year old was fine, the 9 year old was grossed out by all the princesses. He would only pose for a pic with Aladdin.

I'd go back, but my boys prefer Chef Mickey's now.

I'm sure they would enjoy it, but they'd probably enjoy another character meal better, maybe Crystal Palace with the Pooh characters? I think they will love looking at the castle though.

I took my boys (15 months and just under 4 years at the time) to the Princess Breakfast at Epcot last year, and they both loved it! If you want to go, I say go! Do it now, before they're old enough to protest.

If you just want to see the castle, you could go for lunch or dinner. There are no characters in the dining room, but sometimes you'll find Cinderella or the Fairy Godmother, or someone else (we saw mary Poppins) in the lobby.

Hi All!

Wow, I'm planning to take my family (DH, DS1,DS2,DS3) to Cinderellas Royal Table for the Character Breakfast. :teeth: I'm hoping they don't kill me for it.....hey - they are going to one of the Mickey Character Meals - I'm entitled too! princess:

I'd take them now before they get old enough to complain about the princesses. DS was 8 last year and he let it be known from the start that he was going for me and DD. He enjoyed the breakfast despite the princesses and loved the food. We are going back in May and he hasn't really complained. We are also doing Chef Mickeys as his choice for a character breakfast. Your boys are young enough that the "princess" thing won't bother them. I say GO FOR IT. The castle atmosphere and food is GREAT!

We took our DS when they were 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 and this was the best character meal of the whole trip. My younger DS was really afraid of the other characters (started at CM when Donald Duck "drank" his chocolate milk) they are big and they don't speak. At the castle they are all face characters that talk and try to engage the kids. We will try again for this meal in October. My DS will be 6 and 8 but they now have a sister who will be almost three so they will have to do it again. I don't think that they will really mind.

My son (4 1/2) was OUTRAGED that we didn't go to breakfast with Cinderella when we were there last year. :earseek: He made me promise that we would go in September. He couldn't understand why I didn't think he would enjoy it. Then he asked if Aladdin lived there, too. I say you should go. who are we to decide what is fun to a little kid, right?

Have a great trip!
