I'm trying to figure out my food budget for our vacation. I would like to take my daughter to Cinderella's Royal Table but I'm reading that the dinner is 73.00 per adult. Is this right? Does anyone have an idea of what it will cost me for a family of four, three adults and one child? Thank you.

That all depends on you. I can talk about the fact that akershus has a better track record of character interaction and food, but nothing will ever compare to having a meal in the reallifehonestogoodness castle.

We are only going to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for our stay because we have other family members who would like to do a few things off Disney. I want my daughter to see all her favorite princesses so I though this would be the best way. Is there any other restaurant with the princess in one of the two parks we are visiting?

You have Akershus in Epcot which is cheaper and very popular. With CRT, the price tag reflects the setting...i.e. you're paying for the castle. Personally, I LOVE being in the castle and will pay for it now and then, but breakfast is my fave meal at CRT as far as the food goes. If we're having lunch or dinner, I'd rather eat at Akershus. I know for some, it's the total opposite as for the food. Best to look at the menus and see what works best for your budget and preferences.

Breakfast is $58 and lunch is $61; it's not much, but it would save you a little bit. 1900 Park Fare over at the Grand Floridian has Cinderella and the Prince at dinner and is $45 for dinner. With your two parks, that's your only other option.

I have read on disboards that the CRT is 55.00 per adult and 34.00 per child for dinner. On allears.net it says that it is 73.00 per adult and can't remember what it says for the kids. To me that's a big price difference which one is right? Also do you have to pay for your bill before when you make your reservations?

I'm pretty sure allears is correct. The dis pricing always seems out of date.

As I mentioned above, $73.04 is the current price for dinner. The link I posted is maintained by a Disney CM and as reliable as anything else out there.

Unless you are on the DDP when you book it, you will prepay for CRT. If on DDP, they confirm this and you do not have to prepay.

If not going to Epcot, your only other princess option is dinner at 1900 Park Fare which has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters.

Ok thanks ....We have decided even though I think it's really high for a dinner we are going to make our reservations next week. I just like to make a budget on what we need to spend on food. This is the only place my daughter really wants to eat so I sure can't disappoint her. Thank you

1) Check out the sticky for EXACT pricing.
2) And, yes, when you make the ADR you pay right then.
3) At one time, a long time ago and in a galaxy far away, you did pay after dinner.
4) But, there were so many second-thoughts and no-shows, they converted to advance payment.

We had dinner there last year and for a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), it costs us $220.00. You always have to pay this upfront when you make the reservation. When you call they will ask for a credit card and they take it off your credit card as soon as you reserve it. We loved having dinner there. One of my daughters favorite princess is Cinderella so this was an amazing experience for her. Its something that we wont do every year but we would definetly spend the money to do it again. We really enjoyed it. Its neat to eat in the castle in my opinion.
