I have a few questions that I'm really hoping someone can help me with. I'm hoping to book CRT for our next stay at WDW and I plan on buying an annual pass and the DDE card.
I understand that the 20% discount with the DDE card applies to CRT and my questions are as follows;

When I (hopefully) make an ADR for CRT, do I need to pay this in full at the time of booking? and if so, how do I get 20% off as I won't have the DDE card until the first day I arrive in the World? :confused3

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I just snagged a CRT breakfast, and was so discombobulated by my luck that I completely forgot to mention my DDE card. I called back and the CM was very helpful, She said that I'd be refunded the 20% when I showed up at the podium with the card.

However, when making reservations with the DDE card, they don't ask for a number or anything... Just mention that you have the card when you reserve, and show it at the podium. You shouldn't need it in hand to make the ADR.

Thanks Monica in Florida, you've been a great help & well done on your own ADR success.:)
My youngest DdD is 4 and Disney Princess mad so I'm really hoping that I can book this for some stage in our trip as she is desperate to go inside the castle.

This happened to me last October. When we got to the restaurant I showed them my DDE card and I actually has the choice of having the amount credited back to my credit card or to take a Disney gift card in the amount that I was due back.
I took the gift card, that way I could use it while in WDW.

You're quite welcome! And if at first you don't succeed in getting an ADR for CRT, keep trying. People cancel all of the time. Although, it must be quite difficult for you to be calling from Scotland. :(

You have to pay the full price when booking and then you get a credit at CRT as the others have said. Our server did our credit and we were not given an option to credit back to our card, we were just given a gift card, which was fine. We used it later that day for another meal.

We've luckily managed to book a concierge room for our stay & they will make my ADR's so hopefully I'll not have to make any costly phone calls. :scared1: I'll find it very hard not to send gentle e-mail reminders every day as the 180 day point is approaching though. :)

I'm can be flexible with dates but it's my DH's 40th while we are there so although that day would be absolutely perfect, I'm realistic and will be happy with anything I can get.

I'm liking the gift card idea:thumbsup2
