I called to make a ADR for dinner in July for Cinderella's Table for Dinner....
The CM told me tha there is a new dinner package that is pre-paid only, ($39.99/$24.99) which includes a picture package and "special events" during dinner... and it is 2 Dinner Credits for the Disney Dining Plan...

That sort of stinks... for me that is... I want to use my 2 credit meal for Surf and Turf at the Yachtsman!!!

Oh well.....

Sad! we loved dinner at CRT and it became our new favorite place to eat in September. We went back in October and actually paid for it and it was worth the $100 check. We are now waiting to hear the menu before booking again. We loved the seafood eggrole and hoping that is on the new menu. We did see that prime rib is on the new menu (though we like the filet--which is not on the new menu). If our food favorites are still there, we will try them again. I also read that they will no longer accept the DDE discount either.

You can make ADR's 180 days in advance now and here is some info copied from allearsnet.com

CHANGES AT CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE!

Beginning February 1, 2006, dining at Cinderella's Royal Table will undergo several changes:

-- Breakfast and Lunch will continue as Disney Princess-themed character meals. However, when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal, which will be from a fixed-price, set menu. (Additional photos may be purchased.)

Breakfast: $31.99 ages 10 and up; $21.99 ages 3-9. Lunch: $33.99 ages 10 and up; $22.99 ages 3-9.

-- Dinner will become a fixed-price, set meal, also, hosted by the Fairy Godmother, who will lead the observance of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. You will also have the chance to have your photo taken before dining, with a photo package similar to that mentioned above offered to you during the meal. In addition, you will receive a special, unframed, unmatted lithograph (worth $50), given exclusively to diners at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner.

Dinner: $39.99 ages 10 and up; $24.99 ages 3-9.

NOTE: Once these changes go into effect (February 1, 2006), payment in full with a credit card will be required at the time of booking for all meals at Cinderella's Royal Table. If you do not have a credit card, the reservation cannot be made. All reservations for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table prior to February 1, 2006, will follow current pricing and deposit payment policies.

Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan WILL be accepted at Cinderella's Royal Table meals, requiring TWO table service credits.

I have already made my ADR for breakfast at the Castle for our May trip. How does this change affect me?

I thought if you had the resi prior to Feb 1, you were not affected by the change. Somewhere I read that. But don't remember. Can someone verify that for me?

Doesn't matter if ressie was made prior to 2/1. CRT changes are as of 2/1/2006. So as of 2/1/2006 it will be 2 TS credits per person if on dining plan or
"Breakfast: $31.99 ages 10 and up; $21.99 ages 3-9"

Have a nice trip :)

Where did you get to see the new menu? How do you know that prime rib is on the new menu? Any info would be appreciated.

i called last week and wdw dine told me following: lunch menu-assorted appetizer tray served family style, a choice of entree: salmon, pork, beef pie or pasta dish, and for dessert: blueberry cobbler served family style.

Now for the dinner:same appetizer, a choice of entree although she didn't specify what they were, and an individual dessert served to each person but is being kept hush-hush as of now. (wonder if it will be the slipper dessert)

my biggest problem is i called wdw several times and get a different story from each cm. some say for the dinner you take a photo with cinderella in lobby and then have your dinner but no characters go to table. other cm said the same but you take a photo with the fairy godmother in lobby and cinderella will not make a lobby appearance...............anyone have more info :confused3
