Cinderella's Character Lunch

I tried to get in for the CRT at 6am the morning I was supposed to for our upcoming trip and didn't have any luck getting in. This will be my daughter's first trip to WDW and Cinderella is her favorite so now we are stuck with the Cinderella's lunch. I can tell by the menu that it will be a waste of money for us as those items on the menu are not to our liking, but we are just doing the lunch because we promised a meal with Cinderella in her castle as it was my daughter's only wish. I really wish I could move it to the morning's reservations, but I call once a week and 12/7/05 is full. We will be there from 12/3/05 till 12/10/05. If anyone has a cancellation during this time, could you PM me and let me know!
Also, if anyone has done the character lunch, could you let me know what you thought and what all characters were there? Thanks so much in advance

I have never eaten the lunch but it always looks super good whenever I work at CRT. The princess lineup for lunch is the same as breakfast so it shouldn't matter. The scheduled princesses/friends are Cinderella in the lobby, Fairy Godmother, Aurora, Snow White, Belle, and Mary Poppins. But the characters are ALWAYS subject to change and could do so at any time. Other friends that have made appearances are Wendy, Alice, Peter Pan, Prince Charming, and even Cruella De Vil. So please keep this in mind when you go to eat that NO ONE is guarenteed to be there. Have fun!

I don't know how serious you are about really wanting breakfast, but if you call obsessively, I have a feeling you will get it. I have heard so many stories of people calling 3, 4, even 5 times a day and eventually getting breakfast. It would be easier if you were flexible on your day and you could have the CM check for your whole stay. I have a lunch reservation though and I am really looking forward to it! It sounds to me like lunch is essentially the same as breakfast character-wise, so I feel like we have nothing to lose. Hope something works out for you!

Thanks for yall's encouragement. I will look forward to my lunch. This is the only day my husband, daughter and I have to ourselves. The rest of the trip, including dinner that night at Hoop dee do, it already all planned out by my ex-cast member sister. She is so organized!

We had lunch in early Ocotber and loved it. Thought the food was excellent and the kids had a great time (5,3,21months). The characters were Cindy, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins and the Fairy Godmother. For us it was the best meal we had. The whole experience was very fun.

We enjoyed the lunch. Fairy Godmother was in the lobby, then in the restaurant were Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Belle and Mary Poppins.

I thought the food was great, but then, I love salmon. If salmon hadn't been on the menu, I wouldn't have been too happy with the other choices, either. dh had the pork tenderloin, but knowing he wouldn't care for the side it came with, asked for a substitution, and our waiter was happy to accomodate him. So don't forget to ask for a substitution if that will help you piece together a meal. The worst they can do is say no.

We loved the lunch last week! Service was very good. I was very pleasantly surprised by the food. We all thought it was quite tasty. We liked both the appetizers and entrees. Major Domos pie was delicious.Dessert was also good.

We saw Cinderella in the lobby and upatairs Aurora, Snow White, Mary Poppins and Belle.

I would do this lunch again without question. Not sure though now given teh price increase. I don't like the idea of being forced to buy the picture package.

Call dining every day around 5pm for Cindy spot for breakfast the next morning.
People cancel the next day's breakfast the night before- so they can get their money back for the full price of the meal. Who wants to loose $200.
I bet 1 family out of the 50 who show for breakfast will cancel for what ever reason - cranky kids, sick person, too many character meals, done it once - don't want to do it again ....

We called at 5pm the day before we wanted to go - and someone had cancelled. We snagged a 8 am breakfast at Cindy's on a 9 am MK opening day.

We had lunch at CRT in August and we enjoyed it alot. The princesses were Cinderella, Jasmin, Snow White, Princess Aurora, and Belle. In the lobby was the Fairy Godmother. Hopefully you can find something on the menu you like. My DD7 loved the chicken strips (here and at every other meal), I loved the Major Domo Pie (fabulous) and my son said the Salmon was ALMOST as good as mine

Is the lunch a Family style buffet or do you still order off the menu?
Sounds like Major Domo's pie is still on the menu - my DH will be happy about that.

You order off a menu, but there aren't a whole lot of choices.
