Ok, so I probably should have posted on the Teen Travel Agent thread, but I wanted to get everybody's opinion. There is a chance we may be going to WDW this July. I haven't been in about 5 years(!)...how is Cinderellabration? (please don't reveal details!) Also, how long is it and how often does it play? And, last but not least, how far in advance do you recomend saving/finding a spot (keep in mind I am in a wheelchair and, even though I do have an awesome seat elevator, it still is not enough to see over people heads :crowded: ) Thanks!! :sunny:

They should have perfered seating if you are in a wheel chair, so be there about 1 1/2 hours - 1 hour before the show. You can check on disneyworld.com for show times and how long it is :).

I was actually looking this up today!

It's 18 minutes long in the sweltering sun...when I get back, I'll let you know how early you should go, and if it's any good! :thumbsup2

Wow, so 1-1 1/2 hrs. eh? Well, it is new so I guess it would be pretty popular. I can't seem to find the show times for Cinderellabration on the wdw site...do you know where to find them specifically? Thanks for the info, Charmaine! :)

:wizard: Well that's a fun coincidence! Thanks for letting me know how long it is. And yah, I'm a little worried about the heat, but if you're somewhere like Disney, it's a lot more bearable :sunny: When do you go on your trip? I'm looking forward to hearing your review :listen: :goodvibes

When we were there, it had just opened months before and people were lining up all the way to the stop of the main street buildings to try and watch. You can get there a few minutes from the show with horrible seats, but if you get there early you can get great seats and push people off when they try to take your spots.

Heres something I found off the Disneyworld website, I'm a little disappointed they don't show parade times like Disneyland does.

-"Cinderellabration" is inspired by a popular stage show created for the 20th anniversary of Tokyo Disneyland in 2003 and will be staged several times daily at Magic Kingdom.-

i didn't really enjoy it that much. sure it's mostly for the little kids, but it's ridiculous.
like any show/parade/fireworks you have to be there early. We came only got there a few minutes early. there was plenty of room, but the view isn't that great because you've got a lot of people who care less about you and stand in your way and take pictures in front of your face. people are really rude in Disney, mostly the families. they don't give a crap about you, they run you over with their strollers, have their tiny kids wedged up next to you (during a parade, it's annoying to have a three year old licking a dripping ice cream in your ear). sure they want to have a good time as well, but it's annoying to wait 2 hours for something and then just have some people walk up in front of you and try to wedge in next to you.

Yah that's all I found there, too. They do give parade and nighttime show times if you go to the calendar and click on a specific date, but they don't give stage show times. :confused3

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience w/ it. Yah, people can get out of hand at Disney, esp. when trying to appease their hot, whining, little kids. Now that I think about it, though, I've seen some adults that act just as bad as those kids or worse. 'Sounds like it's definitely a show to get seated early for, and close to the front. Did you see the Cinderella birthday show thing they had several years ago? How comparable is it to that? I know I didn't enjoy that one too much. We found a place, maybe half an hour early, then a few minutes beforehand swarms of people flocked in in front of us. That show, in my opinion, was pretty weakly-based and predictable.
I'm hoping Cinderellabration is better. princess:

Bumping this to see if I can get more opinions/replies.

Ash, did you see it yet?

Thanks, guys! :)

I saw it in August. My parent's said it was a must see since it will be taken down soon. It was sweltering hot...I am not going to lie. But we got there probably 10 minutes before the show and got ok seats. They where somewhat in the shade, but people got there a 1/2 hour early and where seated in the central hub, where viewing is great (but in direct sunlight). The show was interesting, not amazing, but something you should see once.
To find out show times you can look at a sign right by the castle. It lists showtimes, or pal mickey will let you know ;).
I hope you get to go on your trip in July, and have LOTS of fun!

I know I hate that!!! My mom gets like, really cranky and everything because of "the stroller people". Anyways, depending on when you're going, I'm not quite sure that it will even be still going on. If it is though, the only time I've really watched it through to the end was when I was waiting to be seated at the Crystal Palace. It's not the best show Disney's ever come out with, but I think that it's worth seeing once.
